The woman was reportedly in a similar situation a few weeks later and called 911 when her water smelled weird, Brown said. The water bottle had cyanide inside, authorities determined, per the District Attorney’s statement WMTV 15 cited.

In nearby Rock County, another woman suffered on three occasions what authorities have determined to be alleged poisonings, per WKOW.

In April, her gym water bottle was allegedly contaminated with cyanide and thallium after her car was broken into, prosecutors said, according to WKOW.
Man, Girlfriend Allegedly Tried to Poison His Exes with Cyanide: Police

Prosecutors said that soon thereafter, VanDuyne and Whitaker, a pharmacology student, launched a plan to poison the women’s personal belongings — including their vehicles and water bottles — with a variety of toxic substances.

It appears Whitaker was allegedly jealous of the women.

Upon searching VanDuyne’s minivan, detectives found multiple glass vials as well as rosary peas and a seed grinder in his home, court documents say.

VanDuyne remains behind bars on $10 million bail; Whitaker is currently being held on $4 million bail.Princeton grad, gal pal allegedly use rat poison, rosary-pea toxin on women he met on dating apps

court dates: Whitaker is due in court July 2nd while VanDuyne will appear on August 4th.

They seem a match made in hell.
