Two people were charged in Gilmer County last week after officers received reports of a toddler being on their roof and found two unsupervised children covered in feces.

On April 10, after receiving multiple reports, officers with the Glenville Police Department responded to a house on River Street and saw a 3-year-old boy on the roof approximately 12 feet from the ground “hunched over shivering from the cold rain, crying and scared,” according to a criminal complaint.

Police describe the child as “hunched over shivering from the cold rain, crying and scared.”

According to police, a male who was inside the residence was completely unaware that the child was on the roof.

While searching the home, officers say they had to unlock several doors to gain access to the juvenile. The children’s room was also locked from the outside, officials say; there was also another male juvenile located in a crib in the room.

Why aren't people like this offered free sterilization before they have 3 (or any) children??? It's obvious (to me) that those children weren't wanted. They were accidents (as am I, so I can call it for what it looks like IMO. I just wasn't treated in this manner, accident or not).

Gemmie I ask this same question over and over again. Birth control is free is this country and easy to obtain. Wouldn’t you think they could figure out their miserable lives would be easier without kids?
