Search Is On For Missing Woman

West Virginia State Police officials said they are trying to locate a missing Gilmer County woman who was last seen in Wetzel County on Monday morning.
Melinda Rice, 42, was last seen walking away from a home on Brock Ridge near Wileyville in Wetzel County.
Rice’s family is offering a $500 reward for information concerning her whereabouts.

They found an article of her clothing by family searching for her where she had been last seen walking.

Sgt. Shriver of the West Virginia State Police says the body has been identified as Melinda Sue Rice who went missing on March 20.

How devastating for her family. The article above quotes her mother as saying that they are 100 days behind on autopsies! Bad enough to lose her daughter but then to have to wait like this for an autopsy. Just delays justice and interferes with her grief. I can't imagine what she is going through...
