State police are searching for a missing woman last seen Thursday morning, prompting a public call for assistance.

According to the West Virginia State Police, 29-year-old Shania Moser was last seen around 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Albright Avenue area of Kingwood. Authorities said she was driving a 2015 blue Ford Escape bearing West Virginia registration 1G5016 at the time of her disappearance.

She has blonde hair, brown eyes, a tattoo on her left foot, and a chest tattoo that reads 'Fearfully and wonderfully made'. She was wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white Nike shoes.

My first thought was "such a happy smile" and that it was refreshing to see an actual photo of a pretty young woman that hadn't been heavily edited for social media or AI enhanced so we can see what the missing person actually looks like.

There is a Shania Lee Moser, currently age 29 in the court system. I'm pretty sure it's the missing Shania as she is from the same area listed on her FB page, the year of birth matches, and there is a booking photo in one of the msm articles linked. That person is off of probation with no current charges pending in West Virginia that I could find. Everything happened in 2022 and she's had no legal issues since.
