Recovered/Located WV - Summer Toney, 29, Skylie Toney, 8, Charleston, 5 July 2018

Family is concerned because Summer is a known drug user. Summer was reported to be seen without Skylie on July 5, 2018 (reported Summer looked like she had been beat up). Skylie has not been seen since June 23, 2018.

Summer is described as weighing 100-105 lbs and is 5'5" tall. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Skylie weighs 80-90 lbs and is 4' tall. She also has blonde hair. Skylie has blue eyes.

I have seen it with my very eyes, the mother who sold her kids for drugs. I am praying and praying that is not the case here. It makes me sick to think about it.

This motel is just awful ... full of drugs. I wish our town would bulldoze it.

I drive by it everyday to and from work. I'll keep my eyes open, lots of people out milling around.

It's difficult to comment on this case because these words from Skylie's great-aunt make the fear all too real.

Maybe there is some hope in the direction that Summer hooked-up with someone where she leaves Skylie when she goes to "work"?

This sweet and innocent child has been immersed in a dangerous, high-risk lifestyle probably her whole eight years of life. So, so sad.

Troopers say their hands are tied until there is some kind of court order, which her aunt says the process has begun but hasn't been to court yet. Also, CPS knows about the situation.
