Circumstances of RecoveryPartial remains of an adult male found at waters edge of the Sacramento River. Partially clothed, 1 and 1/2 miles south of County Road 138, W Sacramento, CA.

Head was noted as missing

Black calf-high socks.
On the Body

Two black leather calf-high boots. No laces with 6 eyelets and 4 hooks and each side of boots.

5'10 and 40-70 years old. DN claims he's believed to have died in June 1972. Shame, DN has the 1970 discovery's coroner's report, but not this one's.

Any theories on why he has a more specific age range than the 1970 discovery? How could they tell he was an older man?

I can't find County Road 138. Could it be County Road 136? This one is close to the location mentioned in the article.

Coroner report states: Anterior curvature of spine T4/T5 upwards.
There are no xrays on file for him and his blood type is unknown. I wonder if Yolo County cremated John Does back then
