IN FINDING REMAINS FAMILY SEEKS CLOSURE

The family of Yvonne Martin seeks closure by finding her remains, which are believed to have been dumped somewhere in the Antelope Valley.

The following information is from the Victor Valley News Group:

A family is asking for the public’s help in finding the body of a 69-year-old woman after she was killed by her own son.
The suspect, 34-year-old Anthony Raymond Falcon, a resident of Victorville, was arrested for PC187(A) Murder on July 21, 2022, in the 4200 block of State Highway 138 in Phelan.

He remains in custody at the High Desert Detention Center without bail.

On July 21, 2022, Falcon’s vehicle, a silver 2004 Saturn Vue, was discovered in a remote desert area of Lancaster. The family said it was near Devil’s Punch Bowl, an area the suspect frequented often.

Sheriff’s officials said extensive searches have been conducted by ground and air units, but the victim has not been located.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Detail at 909-890-4904.

Details of Disappearance​

Martin was last seen in Phelan, California on July 19, 2023. Her husband returned home from work at 4:30 a.m. on July 20, was unable to locate her and called the police. She has never been heard from again.

At the time of her disappearance, Martin had a restraining order against her 34-year-old son, Anthony Raymond Falcon, so police went to question him about his mother's disappearance and he was subsequently arrested and charged with her murder. On July 21, Martin's silver 2004 Saturn Vue was found on E Avenue D6 and 230th Street in a remote desert area in east Lancaster, California. There was no sign of Martin herself, however.

Falcon is awaiting trial in his mother's presumed death. Her remains have not been located, but foul play is suspected in her case due to the circumstances involved. Martin's body may have been dumped somewhere in the Antelope Valley area.
