Zach Adams seeks new trial 5 years after conviction in Holly Bobo case

There has been a significant legal challenge to the case against Zach Adams, who was convicted in the death of Holly Bobo in 2017.

Hearings are now underway on the motion and the appellate court could rule before the end of the year.

I'm just here to say I still think about Holly. Her case was one that stayed with me and it actually caused me to take an extended break from Websleuths. I have recently followed the kidnapping and murder case of Eliza Fletcher of Memphis, TN. And anytime I see a woman who is abducted and cruelly taken away from her family, it makes me reflect on Holly. Her case wasn't handled nearly as effectively as Liza's, so I hope this is a positive sign that progress is being made in how Law Enforcement handles such cases. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the LE did in Holly's case but I do think there were mistakes, which I'm sure they regret. But if we learn from them, then that's something important to be gained from it all.

I am sorry for what happened to you, Holly. I pray for justice to come to every person who harmed you and stole your life. Rest In Peace.
