Thank you for the news update. This is the original case that brought me to WS. That this monster Elisa Baker will EVER see the light of day is utterly disgusting, however, I'm glad she's going to federal prison for her drug charges for another 10 years now that her murder charge has been 'served'.

Baker was moved on Wednesday morning, July 2, from Anson Correctional Institution in Polkton to begin serving a federal sentence related to a prescription drug conspiracy.

Her federal sentence stems from a 2013 conviction for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, and alprazolam.

When she was killed, her disappearance wasn't reported for weeks and police eventually determined that she had been murdered and her body dismembered. Police found her prosthetic leg and parts of her body, but her head was never located.
