Zimbabwe joins a growing list of countries banning corporal punishment (in home and school) as a High Court declared it unconstitutional.

Zimbabwe Bans Corporal Punishment for Children

Children across Zimbabwe won new rights Thursday, March 2nd, when the High Court handed down a ruling outlawing corporal punishment against minors, both at home and in school.

If upheld by the country's constitutional court, the ruling will change the way Zimbabwe's parents have dealt with their children for centuries.

Now if America would follow . Hitting children is absurd. Teaches them it is ok to be hit and it is ok to hit if you have more power, size, and strength.
