Details of Disappearance​

Stockwell was last seen after leaving Patty's Restaurant in Gold Hill, Oregon on January 15, 2022. He never arrived at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon and has never been heard from again. He may be driving a white four-door 2018 GMC Sierra Denali crew cab pickup truck with the Oregon license plate number 851LVC.

Stockwell's debit card was reportedly used at a gas station on Wood Street in Willows, Oregon on February 5, a few weeks after his disappearance. Few details are available in his case.

I guess the next thought is that hopefully they still had some camera views available of that transaction, and that he was the one using the card. I hope he's OK and is safe and warm tonight.

I don't see a MSM report on this yet, but Donald's niece posted on Facebook yesterday that his body and his truck have been found, just a short distance from where he was last seen in Willows. Rest peacefully, Donald.

The Glenn County Sheriff’s Department received a report of an unoccupied Chevy pickup truck in a remote area off of Road 20N59 in the Mendocino National Forest on Oct. 5, 2023. The Sheriff’s office found the vehicle unlocked with property belonging to Stockwell inside, the release said.

Human remains found near missing Oregon man’s vacant truck

Glenn County Search and Rescue located human remains within a quarter mile of a vehicle belonging to Donald Stockwell Jr., who was reported missing on January 31, 2022.

Donald Stockwell Jr.’s Chevrolet truck was found Oct. 5 in the Mendocino National Forest, the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office said in an Oct. 19 news release.

Stockwell was reported missing from Josephine County, Oregon, on Jan. 31, 2022, deputies said.

He was spotted two days later on camera putting gas in his truck at a Chevron in Willows, California, deputies said.

When investigators received a report of an abandoned truck off Road 20N59, the caller said it was unlocked and had Stockwell’s belongings inside.

Deputies said they responded to the truck two days later and searched for Stockwell. They found no evidence of foul play.
