Details​

On 01/19/1980, the skeletal remains of a 30-60 year old white female were discovered in Highland County, OH. This individual measured approximately 64" in height and was wearing a coarsely woven one-piece dress that zipped up the back and was made of blue and white threads. A padded jacket consisted of a finely woven outer material in brown or tan that was lined in dark blue. On the feet were wool-type socks with horizontal stripes (Image Attached). Among the skeletal elements were found three "dome-shaped, grooved, purple plastic buttons.

LOVE that someone took the time to describe the fabrics!

The described jacket is of higher quality than the dress, sounds like.

imho this lady died during cold weather, wearing wool socks with a dresss doesn't make much sense otherwise. This was the Dress for Success era.

Wonder if this lady made the dress &/or jacket, and had the buttons for another project?

A composite sketch or a DNA report might help out in this case. The wool sock is interesting, but hardly a solid clue as to her identification.
