Have you seen her? Police searching for mother of 3 missing for several days

From the above article:

• Erica is a mother of three, and has been missing since Sunday morning.
• She was at a friend’s house Saturday evening, then left to drop her car off at home so that her daughter could take it to work on Sunday at 5am, according to family members.
• She was last seen near Hwy 288 and the Beltway driving a black GMC Acadia, according to investigators.
• According to her family, her friend texted her to see if she made it back home, and Erica told her she was 5 minutes away. No one has heard from her since.

The article below has since been updated to include a video, and additional information:

Erica Hernandez hasn't been seen since the early morning hours of April 17 when she left a friend's house in the 6000 block of Benning Drive in southwest Houston.

"We called the hospitals, we asked for her name and asked for Jane Doe's nothing," said Eldia Hernandez, Erica's sister-in-law. "We're all frustrated. We're all in disbelief because this is not like her. This is not her routine. Her kids are her world, and she would never ever leave her kids."

Family of missing woman Erica Hernandez search Sunnyside | khou.com

On Saturday, volunteers searched an area in south Houston where they believe Erica may have been before going missing.

Ashley Hernandez, Erica’s younger sister, and family friends were part of several search parties canvassing areas of Sunnyside for signs of her.

......

“She was last seen, visibly, in her car on Court Road, Post Oak area,...
but her cell phone, the towers, picked her cell phone up in this area also,” Ashley said.

They focused on fields and grassy, wooded areas near 288 and Reed Road.

A surveillance camera captured her leaving her brother’s home on April 18.

•Hernandez & her mother cooked most of the day.
•According to Hernandez’s sister-in-law Eliva, Erica arrived at Eliva’s house at 8:10pm (ring video) to drop off food.
•she left her car running because her kids were in it
•she stayed for about 5 mins, then left to go drop her kids off at home
•around 9:30pm Erica left again and went to her friend’s house to deliver more food.
•she stayed there until 2:30am
•her friend Maggie texted her on her drive to make sure she made it home safely
•At 3:04 a.m., Maggie texted Erica asking if she made it home yet. Erica replied that she was five mins away.
•then Maggie asked again once five minutes passed, but didn’t get a response. No one has heard from Erica since.

•••
Miller said the car Hernandez was driving is a big answer in the case.

Video shows missing mother of 3 outside sister-in-law’s house night before disappearance

This article states the same: she was last seen near Highway 288 and the Beltway driving a black GMC Acadia. It has a Texas license plate MKJ-3303.
It also states the following:
Eliva said possibly around 9:30 p.m., Hernandez went back out to her best friend Maggie’s house to deliver more food. Eliva said Hernandez was there until about 2:30 a.m.

“Maggie was texting Erica during her drive home to make sure she made it home safe,” Eliva said. “At 3:04 a.m., Maggie texted Erica asking if she made it home yet. Erica replied that she was five mins away.”

Meaning the 2:45am times is 15 mins after leaving her friend’s house. And she was supposedly in contact with that friend up until 3:04am.

FBI to aid in search of missing Houston mother Erica Hernandez

The FBI is joining the search for a Houston mother of three who went missing more than a week ago, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee announced Monday.

Texas Equusearch has been looking for the mother everyday since she was reported missing, with many of Hernandez’s family and friends joining the efforts in the field. Officials said they are using every resource available to the organization to find her.

Any information on the whereabouts of the black GMC Acadia that Hernandez was last seen driving will greatly aid in the investigation, Cruz said.

Officials said any information or tip about Hernandez or her vehicle is essential to their efforts. They said they will not stop until the case is resolved.

Here’s the same map from above with this location marked as well.

So the two locations are less than 5 miles apart.
.............

Hwy 288 has been mentioned as well.

Her friend’s house:
6000 block Benning Dr.

If we use Fort Bend Parkway as last seen location, it’s about 7 miles, 11 min drive.

If we use Court Rd, it’s about a 6.5 mile, 17-18 min drive.

If we use this location:
McHard Rd appears to be a section of FM2234.
This would match with other reports of her last being seen around FM2234 & Fort Bend Tollway and within a few miles from Court Rd that’s been reported.

Search efforts continue for Erica Hernandez, missing Houston mother of 3 - TOPNews-USA

Family members describe Erica Hernandez as a loving mother. She’s a single mother who works full-time to care for her three children. She even donates plasma twice a week, trying to bring in more money for her household.

Her son, Dennis, turns 16 years old Wednesday. Erica’s sister, Ashley Hernandez, said there’s no way in this world Erica would miss his birthday.

“It’s about bringing my sister home to her children. My nephew’s birthday is coming up. It’s going to be a hard 16, I’ll tell you that. Please find it in your heart to look at your camera, think about what happened Sunday last week,” said Hernandez. “I really do think she’s in danger. There’s no reason why we can’t find her vehicle. I do think she’s in danger. I really do.”

ABC13-Steve Campion

ABC-13 News anchor Steve Campion interviewed Erica’s sister. The video is on a post from yesterday (April 27).

The following was shared:
•April 17 at 8:00pm, Erica dropped food off at her brother & sister-in-law’s house on Ardery Meadow.
•April 17 at 8:30pm, Erica drops her kids off at home located on Rockford Drive.
•April 18 at 2:30am, Erica leaves her friend’s house on Benning Road.
•April 18 at 4:00am, Erica is last seen in her vehicle on a security camera on Court Road at S. Post Oak.

Her sister in law states in the interview that the video is a mystery to the family. The police aren’t sharing too much about it.

Here is a screenshot of a map showing the times and places shared in the interview.

None of them included Court Rd where she was last seen at 4:00am.

I looked up the location where she was seen on camera at 4:00am using the exact wording shared from the news.
“Court Rd @ S Post Oak”

When you Google it, this location comes up as a Metro Bus Stop.
It’s at an intersection.
There are visible cameras at the intersection and I’m sure there’s cameras at the many businesses that are there as well.
By looking at the bus stop and intersection, it doesn’t seem like the safest place to be in. IMO.

Important Info; Please Read!

Erica’s Story

She got to our house(brother and myself) at 8:08 pm Saturday evening. She was at our home dropping off pupusas and then left at 8:16 pm. The video you see on the news is her leaving OUR HOME. She had all 3 of her kids in the Acadia, that is why the vehicle was on and you see the lights on.She then got in her vehicle and in the video you see her walk then jog a bit because the driveway is inclined. She got in her car and drove off.

She then went home to drop off all of her kids and then went to her friends house to drop off food to her.

It is said she hung out with her friend and the husband till about 2:32 am(according to her friend).

They text back n forth on Erica's way home. Her friend sent a text at 3:04am asking if she(Erica) was almost home..Erica text back saying she was 5 minutes away from getting home. The friend then text Erica 3 more times after that, and Erica did not respond.

Later we find out from authorities that she was seen (not indicating if someone saw her, or they saw a video or any specifics) by the area of S. Post Oak and Court Rd. That is where the focus has been on.

I am writing this so our public knows the timeline and not get the story twisted.

Onstar, phone, friend, number unknown.. EVERYTHING IS BEING RESEARCHED BY AUTHORITIES!

The FBI is now involved. Some info is being withheld for specific reasons.

I want our public to know that we have and are looking into every avenue we have access too.

Thank you all for your support, love, prayers and understanding. I hope this clears up some questions you all might have. Thank you for reading this. God bless each and everyone of you!

Also under a May 1 post, admins of the page stated LE are currently looking/checking Erica’s phone records.

Day 16
We are nowhere closer to finding Erica. It is absolutely heartbreaking. We have been in contact with authorities and they have come up empty handed. We have had trips made by family and volunteers to areas that tarot readers have mentioned and found her or her car. It is frustrating that authorities will not move on a possible reading sighting. Regardless, we are not stopping.

Community, we need your help to FIND ERICA HERNANDEZ.

She was last seen in the South Houston area. She was last known to be mobile, in her vehicle, and while we believe she was on her way home to the Sunnyside area, she could truly be anywhere.

Community, if you think you know *anything*, immediately contact 832-394-1840 or 281-309-9500.

We are begging and pleading and desperate to FIND HER.

It has been a nightmarish 19 days.

19 days that her children have not heard her voice, have not felt her warmth, have not eaten her delicious meals, have not seen her radiant smile.

ERICA HERNANDEZ is a devoted and hardworking woman. Her children need her back. Her brother and sister need her back. Her mother and father need her back. We all need her back.

It has been a confusing and chaotic 19 days. We have no clues. No truck. No cell phone. No wallet. No ERICA.

How can she be gone and without a trace?

Community, please help us to share her story as we fear that with time, it will go dim. No matter, her light that lights our paths to FINDING HER never, ever, will.

God help us & God bless you,
