This timeline in the Collegiate Times is accurate; it matches the police announcement of what time Morgan was where. I cast a chart for the moment she went outside the concert "hall" so that certain factors can be better seen and understood.

http://i481.photobucket.com/albums/rr172/CausticSalt/MorganExitsJPJConcertHall001.jpg

Here you can see the solicitude of the friends toward Morgan is at issue, with the New Moon Wobble in House 6. This placement also denotes the choice Morgan made when she separated from her group after entry as House 6 is where we choose and decide, just as the natural Sign of House 6 is Virgo: discrimination, decisions. When the Sun is in this House, health is disordered and we are not ourselves, not feeling well and when the Moon is there, we fret. Scorpio of health complications is intercepted there as well.

Mars and Part of Misfortune not only form a Y with Pluto but are also at the solstice point of one another. As planets transit either of these antiscia, 29° Taurus &/or 0° Leo, the facts of this case will emerge. Just before midnight last night, the last pass of the Taurus Moon went over the Part of Misfortune. Passage of the Moon over Weeping Sisters leaves Morgan's loved ones in tears, missing her.

Mars is at 0:56 Leo & Sun 0:27 Aries. (on the West Coast, at least). What emerged yesterday was that her bones were shattered. But not the who.

From Tuba's post #133, page 6

Ref:Asteroid "Morgan" in her natal chart is 29:19 Taurus. Her 2009 solar return (using sunrise chart) has it at 0 Gemini.

Could she have been hit by a train? But that doesn't explain how she ended up in a field.

The farmer who found her on his property said that it's impossible to get onto that property without going over a barbed wire fence he has on it, as it's quite a huge tract of land with bordering neighbors.
It's so large he said he only goes over it once or twice a year at most and this year as with most snow years, to check for broken fencing.

In other words, it appeared as if one purposefully would have to climb over the barbed wire fencing.,or at least this is how I recall the story when it first broke that he found the body there on his property.

Police have not confirmed condition of Harrington’s remains, murderer’s gender

The Harringtons gave a press conference in front of John Paul Jones Arena — the location of the Oct. 17 Metallica concert that Morgan attended — regarding the matter.

“The man who did this — and I am confident that it is a man — is being protected by his environment, by people in his environment, and that needs to stop,” Gil Harrington said.

Virginia State Police officials, however, are not yet commenting about the condition of the remains, nor have they confirmed the assertion that the killer was a man, State Police spokesperson Corinne Geller said.

“No particular person of interest or suspect [has been] identified to date,” she said.

Homicide victims, families honored at Riverfront Park
Published: Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 3:30 a.m.
Last Modified: Friday, March 19, 2010 at 7:55 p.m.
<snipped>
To the mournful, love-filled words of Leonard Cohen's “Hallelujah” and candles lighting up the night, a large gathering at Riverfront Park honored homicide victims who were once missing persons.

“The love that has been shown towards my sister has been amazing,” Larry Rogers said at the candelight vigil in Wilmington, which the CUE Center for Missing Persons held Saturday. His sister, Wilmington resident Priscilla Ann Rogers, was honored at the event along with Virginia Tech student Morgan Dana Harrington and Travis Lee Baker of Taylorsville.

The families of all three victims, whose bodies were found within the past year, spoke at the vigil both of the tragedy of losing a loved one so brutally and of the love and support they found from others in the process. They all thanked Monica Caison, the CUE Center founder, for the dedication she showed in their cases.

The CUE Center, which opened in Wilmington in 1994 and has been taking cases nationwide since 1998, provides search and rescue resources, advocacy and emotional support in missing person cases. It has held its annual candlelight vigil for 16 years, as a way to show people the impact these cases have on victims' families and draw attention to specific cases and the cause in general, Caison said.

Missing person cases are often quite challenging because there's a lack of physical evidence. Without a body or a crime scene, piecing together facts and a timeline can take a long time, and some cases aren't investigated because it's assumed the person ran away, Caison said.

The vigil reaches beyond town to attract scores of people from around the world, including families of known missing persons and those who come to tell the CUE Center about cases it may not have heard of, Caison said.

For the past six years, the CUE Center has held the vigil in conjunction with its annual conference, Caison said. This year's four-day conference has featured training sessions on improving communications among various agencies, exchanging ideas and creating a unified support system for victims.

Conference attendees range from Federal Bureau of Investigation representatives to families of missing persons, from locals to people from Greece, Holland, Mexico, Russia and Italy, Caison said. The CUE Center, which is supported by donations and volunteers, has worked cases in most U.S. states and in some foreign countries.

At Saturday's vigil, the honored victims' families lit candles and unveiled a wall with pictures of other missing persons.

Activist Marc Klaas – whose young daughter Polly was abducted and killed in 1993 – called these families a “fraternity of survivors.” Their children would encourage them to live purposeful lives and take action to prevent future tragedies instead of succumbing to the situation, said Klaas, who runs the California-based KlaasKids Foundation.

Also honored at the vigil were the recipients of the Keeper of the Flame Award, which the CUE Center confers on people who have stood out in supporting missing person cases. Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo was among the recipients.

Jonathan Kyle Brackett
Date of disappearance: 08/01/09
Date of birth: 10/11/90
Age at disappearance: 18
Missing from: Carolina Beach
Details of disappearance: Brackett was last seen wearing a T-shirt and shorts around August 1, 2009, although his mother, Candi McCurry, doesn’t know the exact date because of a variety of reports. Curry said she last spoke to him on July 27, 2009, when Brackett told her he wanted to go join the U.S. Army after meeting two men who said they were soldiers. Brackett had been living with his father on Carolina Beach and working at a gift shop on the boardwalk, McCurry said. She said people told her Brackett got his paycheck from work and indicated he was planning to go somewhere. McCurry also said a friend of her son’s told her Brackett may have been carrying a gun and gone into the woods near her Surf City home.

Laura Beth Whitten
Date of disappearance: 01 /24/09
Date of birth: 12/23/78
Age at disappearance: 30
Missing from: Magnolia
Details of disappearance: Whitten was last known to be in the company of her boyfriend, who was driving a 2005 BMW. She had moved from her parents’ home in Magnolia to Holden Beach with her boyfriend when she disappeared, her sister Michelle Moore said. Whitten’s boyfriend is a fugitive from the law and her family believes she went off with the man, who was at some point listed in Aberdeen. Moore said her family last heard from Whitten in March 2009, when she text-messaged her mother saying she was tired from work and would call her the next day. Calls to that phone number went unanswered, and the number now belongs to someone else. The last time friends heard from Whitten was via e-mail in May 2009, Moore said. Whitten, who had been close to her family, had become more and more distant since meeting her boyfriend, her sister said. She also said Whitten had been distraught over deaths in the family shortly before her disappearance.

Michelle Haggadon
Date of disappearance: 01 /25/01
Date of birth: 12/15/66
Age at disappearance: 34
Missing from: Leland
Details of disappearance: When she was last seen, Haggadon had been due to pick up a very large sum of money in a class action settlement. Her family became concerned after Haggadon failed to contact them and missed this appointment. Foul play is suspected.

Pamela Bradshaw
Date of disappearance: 09/20 /01
Date of birth: 03/17/59
Age at disappearance: 42
Missing from: Wilmington
Details of disappearance: Bradshaw was last seen late on Sept. 20, 2001. Her daughter dropped her off at her home on Red Cross Street. This was sentence for the murder, rape & attempted murder of two sisters on 29 January, 1999. It was a miracle that the 14 yr. old survived but she was able to whisper his name. Powell was tried twice, the second trial successful in convicting him due to boasts in jail letters.

The 21st annual Take Back the Night rally in Blacksburg will be dedicated to the memory of Morgan D. Harrington, the Virginia Tech student who was killed after disappearing in Charlottesville in October.

Harrington’s parents plan to speak at the rally, which is a protest against violence against women. The rally is scheduled to begin at 7 tonight at the Virginia Tech Drillfield, and will include a march through campus and downtown Blacksburg.

People hung T-shirts at the drill field with mesages protesting violence against women.

The rally symbolizes community support so women should not have to fear being alone at night.

This year, the rally is dedicated to Morgan Harrington, the Virginia Tech student found dead after leaving a Metallica concert.

“They just wanted to dedicate it to her. It’s kind of in loving memory and just something special that makes it different than the past years,“ said Emily Hanssen.

Virginia Tech students take back the night, protest against violence

Using their voices and showing up in numbers, community members and Virginia Tech students took back the night Thursday.

Their message was to stop violence against women. “Rapes, domestic violence, misogyny that have been done to women over and over again time and time again,“ said VCOM student Neha Sheth. The most recent act of violence to hit close to home for the Hokies is Morgan Harrington.

The event was dedicated to the Virginia Tech student. Once again this year, she was in everyone’s thoughts. But she’s wasn’t the only one.

“As we take back the night, let us do so with Heidi, David, and Morgan in our minds and in our hearts,“ said Christine Dennis Smith, Co-Director of the Virginia Tech Women’s Center. Everyone marched to make a difference and went the extra mile to show their commitment to stop violence against everyone.

Students march to stop violence against women
Thursday, March 25, 2010; 10:36 PM
<snipped>
Blacksburg overflowed with about 200 student activists Thursday night during the 21st annual Take Back the Night celebration and rally, dedicated in memory of deceased Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington. Harrington’s parents, Dan and Gil Harrington, were in attendance.

Thursday’s rally was the Harringtons’ first public appearance on the Tech campus since the discovery of their daughter’s body. “Women campaigning against violence has always been important in our home,” Gil Harrington said, referencing her daughter Morgan’s long-term involvement with charities that assisted victims of domestic violence, especially children.

“Although we were not able to save our own daughter, we’re going to try to save others,” Gil Harrington said. She said that because her daughter’s case had been so “high-profile,” she and her husband Dan were “honored to come.”

Gil and Dan Harrington created a T-shirt for Morgan. Morgan’s shirt, which is number 509, was added to the clothesline during the rally. Some of the shirt project will be on display today in Squires Student Center. “The rally is designed to educate participants about violence and resources available to combat violence,” Anderson said. “And the march is designed to energize people. We’re not going to change the world, but people can change their own worlds.”

Gil Harrington spoke to the gathered, hushed crowd about her daughter. “We need to shine a light on this dark thing and change what we do that tacitly encourages violence against women,” Harrington said.

Gil and Dan Harrington marched along with the roughly 200 protestors through the Tech campus and along the South Main Street. Passersby stopped to look and to cheer on the smiling, candle-bearing line of people, led by Anderson and Womenspace volunteers. Many student organizations and fraternities joined in.

Virginia Tech Event in Memory of Harrington

Virginia Tech held its 21st annual Take Back the Night Rally Thursday night. This year's event was in memory of late Virginia Tech student, Morgan Harrington. Due to rain, the event was moved from the Drillfield to the Wesley Foundation building, but that didn't stop people from coming.

Those that gathered were more than happy to welcome the Harrington family to the event. "Really excited that they wanted to and were willing to come out and it just shows how our community is strong. We're coming together and we support each other through thick and thin," VT senior Nora Tayiel said.

"The fact that her mom is here. We are all so excited to welcome her into our community because Morgan was a part of our community," VT junior Emily Feeney said. At the conclusion of the event, attendees marched though campus and downtown Blacksburg holding candles in memory of all victims of violence.

Wristbands help keep the memory of Morgan Harrington alive
March 26, 2010
<snipped>
Friday, Harrington's college classmates talked to News 7 about their loss and what they're doing now to keep her memory alive. "I met Morgan Freshman year and we've been friends ever since," says Virginia Tech Junior Tony Liskey.

Her friends say she was full of life, and it's that life that several Virginia Tech juniors hope to keep alive with new wristbands. "Purple was Morgan's favorite color, and the green we wanted it to kind of symbolize life," says Liskey. One of Harrington's girlfrends designed the bracelet and an initial order of 300 was placed.

Another 300 are now coming in. Money will go to OMNI, a locally based mission helping people in Africa that Harrington volunteered with.

The purple bracelet is becoming a way to remember and to help deal with grief. "The sad thing is people die. Hundreds of kids go missing all the time but until it really affects your own heart and you experience it it's not the same,"says Michael Sitarksi. "To sum it up its changed my life. It's making me want to do more for other people," says Liskey.

Morgan's Mother Says She Was Likely Raped, then Killed
Posted: 6:08 PM Mar 30, 2010
<snipped>
Police visited Dan and Gil Harrington at their home Tuesday to update them about the investigation into the death of their daughter, Morgan.

With no new leads in the murder case, Gil says she thinks her daughter was raped and then killed. "I think I'm coming to terms with what, in my mind, I think happened to her," says Gil. Virginia State Police have not confirmed this detail, and the medical examiner still hasn't identified an official cause of death.

The lack of information in Morgan's murder case is compounded by an impending protest.

The Westboro Baptist Church, based in Kansas, is planning to protest all Virginia Tech students, including Morgan, early next month because church officials say parents of VT students encourage drinking and other activities they say are sinful.

:furious: :furious: Church officials say Morgan was a participant in those activities that caused her own death. :furious: :furious:

I've had to stop going to CNN.com. Between the Westboro Baptist Church nutters, the Phoebe Prince bullies, and clueless commenters (on another story) going on and on about how fat people are the devil, I'm ready to pull my hair out.

As the Sun passes over Morgan's Moon and Mars passes over her Sun, my thoughts go to the mystery of her concert date and death. On April 14, we will have a New Moon opposite the event that cost Morgan her life, 24° - 24°. This will help resolve the case and uncover her killer.

Oh Tuba, I am glad to hear this. I think police have a suspect in mind but that is just MOO. Praying for justice for Morgan. She was snatched away from her family and this world much too soon. The Harrington's are champions of Morgan's memory.......I just want to cry when I read Gil's poem's and thoughts.

Thank you for the update.

'Morgan's Warriors' Meet On Bridge

A group calling themselves ‘Morgan's Warriors' are keeping alive the memory of murdered 20-year-old Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington.

About 20 members added painted rocks to the memorial at the Copeley Road Bridge in Charlottesville Saturday afternoon. Harrington disappeared in October following the Metallica concert nearby at the John Paul Jones Arena. Her body was found on an Albemarle County farm in January.

Morgan's Warriors hope to promote campus safety across the country. Member Jamie Waldrop says, "We're just trying to create an awareness of safety for girls who are walking alone and people who are out and about - especially after dark."

Morgan's Warriors member Elesa Binner says, Until justice is served, we're all going to stand together and continue to support one another, support the Harringtons, and continue to try and help them solve this mystery."

A new branch of the group called "Change" is working to create legislation regarding women's safety. No arrests have been made in Harrington's killing.

Controversial church group protests in Blacksburg
April 9, 2010
<snipped>
A controversial church group plans to be in Blacksburg Friday to picket Virginia Tech, and a counter demonstration will move onto campus. Members of Westboro Baptist Church claim God cursed Tech and sent the shooter on April 16th, 2007. The group informed the town they'll be at three locations: outside the Jewish Community Center, along Main Street and in front of Blacksburg Middle School. A positive counter demonstration is set for noon at the Graduate Life Center Plaza.

News7's Justin McLeod has learned Morgan Harrington's father plans to be there Friday. The family has heard Westboro Baptist Church plans to be there because of Morgan Harrington's death.

Her father told News7 by phone Thursday he has seen posters on the group's website involving his daughter that he finds appalling and disturbing. Harrington's family can't believe Westboro Baptist Church plans to make Morgan the focus of its protests.

"Very upsetting to a family that lost their daughter to murder five and half weeks ago. They plan to be at Virginia Tech tomorrow to protest a number of things including the fact Morgan Harrington's death was deserved, and again, how would any family feel when you hear those kinds of comments made?," said Dan Harrington.

He plans to be at the counter protests on campus Friday, but he doesn't plan on engaging the group. He finds it appalling the group plans to suggest the Virginia Tech student was responsible for her own death. :furious:

"Clearly they are wanting publicity. On the other hand, I'm trying to maintain dignity for my daughter and have my daughter remembered for what she was," says Harrington.

Westboro Baptist Church protests stir strong emotions
April 9, 2010; 3:56 PM
<snipped>
Lanes of honking traffic and a handful of police officers divided an angry church and rowdy crowd in Blacksburg Friday. Westboro Baptist Church members staged three protests Friday, targeting the Jewish and gay communities and the death of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington.

Protesters
The WBC protest was directed at the community for causing the death of Morgan Harrington by tolerating various groups the church interprets as sinful.

Shirley Phelps-Roper, eldest daughter of the church founder Fred Phelps, led the six protesters. The group consisted of three adults and three children. The group was armed with signs bearing slogans such as “The Jews killed Jesus,” “*advertiser censored* Hokies,” and “God is your Enemy.” :furious:

Phelps-Roper hailed the protest as a successful endeavor. “It’s a ten,” Phelps said, before quickly correcting herself. “Out of ten, it’s a twelve.”

Counter-protesters
“Positive energy, people!” said Blacksburg vice mayor and Tech professor Susan Anderson as she implored community counter-protesters to remain calm. About 150 counter-protesters followed the WBC protesters from Blacksburg’s downtown area to their stop in front of Blacksburg Middle School.

Ryan Selph, Lake Carter and Ryan Bolling called themselves the “party boy protesters.“You’ve got to fight stupid with stupid,” Selph said. “These people aren’t rational. There’s no point in getting mad at it. We’ve got to stand up for each other.”

An unofficial student counter-protest drew about 200 students to the GLC Plaza. Dan Harrington, Morgan Harrington's father, was also in attendance. His wife, Gil Harrington, is currently in Zambia on a medical volunteer mission. "I applaud the students and administration for doing a peaceful rally," Dan Harrington said. "Why are they here? Why would they target my daughter? Why villify her? She was murdered."

Harrington marched down College Avenue along with student supporters. Standing on the street corner under a sign that read, "God and VT love Morgan Harrington," he raised his voice along with Tech students chanting the name of his daughter at the WBC members across the street.

Authorities’ response
Protesters filled Blacksburg Friday, but they were separated and organized by the local authorities that also lined the streets. Kimberly Crannis, Blacksburg chief of police, said the protests took a great deal of planning.

Controversial church group protests in Blacksburg
April 9, 2010
<snipped>
A handful of members from the Westboro Baptist Church showed up as planned in Blacksburg Friday afternoon. Members claim they came to preach what they call "God's message," holding signs like "You're going to hell."

Meantime, sidewalks were packed with people holding a counter rally. The group formed by Virginia Tech students was set to hold a positive counter rally at the Graduate Life Center. However, at the last minute they decided not to be officially involved with the university and took to Main Street on their own.

The church members claim Virginia Tech has been "God smacked," saying God purposely caused the April 16th tragedy and other events, like the murder of Morgan Harrington.
