Terri Horman retains criminal defense attorney!

(IMHO) Of course she does. Unless there is some kind of law that I'm unaware of. You can be in jail and have stocks, own a home, have bank accounts... RE: Housing market- look, according to public records her husband is at about 100k a year + benes. House is modest for that income. They have...

The 5th applies only in that you can not testify against yourself. The court can absolutley compell a witness to testify. You can not (always) remain silent, it is not a "right". IMHO, MOO, etc.

    6.30.2010 Levi Page covers Kyron 8:00PMCT 6:00PMPST

I asked about this in another thread but apparently the thread was closed...not sure what I did against TOS, so here goes again- ?This was also mentioned on NG, right? Does anyone have a link to this? I can't find any info via Sheriff's office to back this up. Who is holding the PR? Is...

2010.06.29 -- LE says TH not POI nor suspect

I totally agree. And that makes it even worse to think about- so simple, so possible, so complete. :banghead:

    Kyron's parents' statements, interviews

Intel is not an academic organization. Sabbatical is simply "time off" for employees. It is an 8 week period, every 7 years, where one does not work. It is taken all at once, verses a week here or a week there, as typically done for standard American vacation weeks. HTH.

    Kyron's parents' statements, interviews

Every 7 years, 8 weeks. So if he's had one recently, it's unlikely. :)

    Kyron's parents' statements, interviews

I don't think anyone thinks he is going anywhere. Sabbatical means he won't be working for the duration of the sabbatical, which is likely 8 weeks.

    Kyron's parents' statements, interviews

Sabbatical Leave Intel provides eligible employees with an eight-week sabbatical, with full salary and benefits, after each seven years of full-time service. ---- It has always been common practice at Intel. They don't pay as well as other companies, but the trade off is the sabbatical.

    Kyron's parents' statements, interviews

You are correct about Intel's sabbatical program (1st hand knowledge). What I didn't know is that K was coming up on a sabbatical. This, to me, is VERY interesting. So he is not in a hurry to get back to work- he has 8 weeks before he has to go back. It's an interesting topic and one I'm...

What do you make of Terri never speaking to the media?

Seriously? Okay. Well, I see it as not "forgetting". I see it as a casual comment- as in "my son was there the day after Kyron went missing" instead of the exact "my son arrived at 3:00 pm on Monday". Day after, a few days after- I think it's totally something the men I know in my life would do-...

What do you make of Terri never speaking to the media?

He was Camping. He has been cleared. http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/details_emerge_about_the_day_k.html TH was telling the truth about this one thing. His Dad was probably telling the truth- just an error in reporting or Dad messing up dates. I don't see this as relating...

What do you make of Terri never speaking to the media?

I don't think this is a big deal- he could have been camping, he could have had a pre-arranged visit for Monday, not the "day after" Kyron went missing (which would have been Saturday). Honestly, just don't see this as a big deal- probably an error in reporting, an error on part of the Dad (it's...

    2010.06.26 9-1-1 call from Horman's home

ITA. I am not sure what the exact Oregon law is regarding domestic violence cases, but I know in other states if there is a domestic dispute, SOMEONE gets arrested- even if the police arrive and the parties claim they don't want to press charges. It is policy that at least ONE of the parties...
