I have tried the microwave method, even bought a special 2-egg holder thing that goes in the microwave. But I prefer to poach eggs in a skillet. We have eggs a couple of times a week and I usually cook them scrambled or over medium.
I'm sorry your allergies are so bad this year and you are dealing with that aggravating nighttime cough (I'm familiar with it). Does anything help with that, like a certain sleeping position?

He's all kinked up like black rat snakes do when they feel threatened! I believe they freeze and try to look like a stick to protect themselves. I've seen snakes looking like this.

Using paper towels is a good idea. I agree restaurant burgers are often messy to eat. I end up eating with a fork in that case and skipping most of the bread. I don’t eat burgers often, but there is a nearby place that offers a 5.3 ounce burger that I like.
As @Auntie Cipation said, the shot is the same as we got last fall, but the CDC recommends that older and vulnerable people get the shot again this spring since the protection from the fall shot has waned. DH and I plan to get the shot soon and will get the updated shot in the fall.

Last night we went to dinner with friends and I had dark chocolate gelato for dessert, in honor of the total eclipse (a reasonable excuse, I thought). We have leftover pasta with seafood for dinner tonight, just have to make a salad!
