She is still not identified. Poor child. I wish the "boyfriend" Angel had the guts to provide more information, but maybe she was a mistery to him too or maybe she was "just an asset" in the human trafficking "game".

I agree, but having the label runaway didn't help much in this case, like in so many others. But she was a child, only 13 years old and this didn't happened in the 70's-80's. Isn't there a law that says they have to investigate if a missing persons case is about an underaged child?

Either they found nothing while searching or they didn't enter it in Namus. This are the UID's found in Charleston, SC (West Ashley is a neighborhood in Charleston) and they are all males. It makes me believe that the person they were trying to find, thinking it possibly was Cherry, was just a...

For the record; they updated the Namus file for this Jane Doe. Even have a recon. It can not be Cheryl Davis because she was found in 1973 and Cheryl went missing in 1979.

I guess so, but an admin. would know best. As a verified member you would have a chance to give (and spread) information that is so desperatly needed in this case.

Thx @CarlK90245 So sorry her family has to endure this IMO so unnecessary waiting....I can't imagine how that must be for them. You wonder; Is there a huge backlog, lack of means or are there troubles with getting DNA from GCJD (sorry if I don't remember the details)?
