I must say I was a bit disappointed in this show. I would have liked to have seen more of Damien's interview. Especially since the interview itself was over 2 hours long.
I read the book he wrote and my heart just breaks for this man. I hope he and Lori get to be together soon and enjoy life...
If the government is paying then I guess that is what the hold up is. We all know what a mess their accounting is.
All joking aside, as this is not a joking matter. What then is the hold up? Shouldn't it be done ASAP to settle this matter or is it just a matter of waiting in line? And I am...
Does anyone know what the cost for the DNA testing is? I assume that Darlie's family will have to come up with the $$$ for the testing. Perhaps this is why it is taking so long.
Yeah, I guess your right, but I do believe the questions in this post were so far out there that it had to be a joke. As there is absolutely no evidence of neighbors, etc. being involved I didn't think the poster was really serious.
If you are offended by my response I apologize to you but not...
Did I miss something somewhere? I thought they had just ok'd the DNA testing and it would be quite sometime before the results were back. Also the appeals attorneys have until Jan '09 to complete requests for additional items.

Yeah, the one he was on DR for was the one they called "orange socks" because that was all she had on. They never did identify her if I remember correctly. Anyway, I was still blown away when his sentence was commuted....considering he was indeed a murderer, that was fact.
I would have liked to see the entire interview. I also would like to know why the testing of the fingerprints was denied. According to Libby Johnson there was a possiblity that DNA from skin cells or oils could have been picked up from these. Technology that was not available in 1996. Also does...
Darlie does work at the prison, this is a privilege for those on DR and she also gets outside for recreation sometimes 3-4 hours at a time with other prisoners on DR
There are 2 trains of thought on this one....
1-) they wanted to see what the outcome of Damon's was and if it came back NG then they could try her for Devon's.
2-) Devon's blood was not found on the murder weapon, only the blood of Damon and Darlie.
Also in the state of Texas, there are 2 DP...
Then there was Francis Newton executed in 2005 I think, her attorneys are still working to try to prove that either her trial was unfair or that she is innocent. I am not sure at this time exactly where it all stands but they are still working on it.
