    I don't read it as saying they were killed at the scene of the car. In fact, I think the kidnapping charge implies they werent. But I do think it means they died of inflicted wounds--not by suffocation.

    I wasn't thinking the stun gun caused the bleeding--but just the death. I guess I assumed the pools of blood was unconfirmed. If it's accurate-then I guess it would explain the broken hammer. Geez--just typing that makes me cringe at the thought.

    Unrelated to the pools of blood, but related to the cause of death speculation--does anyone know if it's possible that death can be caused by a stun gun? I've been wondering about this ever since it was stated that VB and JK weren't shot.

    I’m not sure what we’re debating at this point? I’m not asking anyone to be a fortune teller. I’m saying it’s a minimal investment to have a safe exchange site.     I certainly have no expectation of LE being able to foretell the future—but a custody exchange site is a minimal investment into ensuring emotionally charged situations don’t escalate. Think of it akin to preventative medicine.

    Yes, it’s realistic for a police station to be a safe place to exchange custody. That takes fewer resources than investigating a murder.

    Wow. 2 minutes from the time they arrived until their phones stopped signaling. Anybody know—if they were holding their phones would a stun gun charge disable the phones?
