I'm surprised LE couldn't locate David sooner. If LE did a thorough job of searching, then they should've been able to find him. That area around the time of David's disappearance was open, flat and crops had been harvested already. Also there had been no snow on the ground.

That too but I just assumed that since they have video footage LE would've included that in their timeline. Also, Sparkys truck stop is 24 hrs and only 28 minutes (30 miles) away from the marker 126 truck stop. Unless David was extremely low on fuel.
