The only decomp was around her head. LE told me that she was there for approximately 72 hours. Autopsy report makes no mention of any scars, moles, or birthmarks anywhere on her body, and LE did not mention the existence of any either.
Again spoke with an administrator at NAMUS; Bruno has a "strong DNA pedigree" in CODIS, which basically means Bruno's DNA profile is so complete that a match between her and PD would have already been detected. As a match was not detected, it may be safe to consider her a rule out.
Did she have any connection to the American Southwest? Last I heard, LE said PD lived in a place like Arizona about a year before her murder, based on isotope testing on her hair.
They also have her hair as blonde in the new recon. Kranz told me that PD was a "brunette" with "possible red highlights". Also, the photo that LE provided me with shows dark brown hair.
LE once told me that the majority of these recons are "guesswork" due to the nature of her injuries.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Murderpedia is wrong; Reldan could not have committed these murders.
Follow-up story to the December 2014 Hudson Reporter article...
I've yet to hear anything or read anything on the circumstances. It might be something that LE or the family is keeping private for any number of reasons (I'm sure most of you know that LE withholds key information in the event that a suspect is arrested).
I'll let you all know if I hear...
