Well that was interesting….the convicted murderer wanted to contest something a victim stated and then went off the rails……someone yelled something tearfully from the back of the court, did anyone hear what was said?

Well heck, from that picture it looks like the convicted murderer is facing away from the victims giving their impact statements……I’m surprised he isn’t facing them. My opinion only.

The last statement pointing out the innocence lost hit me….. my opinion only.

Verdict watch has started in this trial. I’m not sure which way the jury will vote. I’m not sure which way I would vote if I was on the jury. My opinion only.

Well that is an interesting read. Thank you for posting the link. It explains the defendants back ground and also points out he was pronounced unfit to go to trial in January 2020. Has been on medication and is now deemed mentally fit to stand trial……thank you again.

I started watching this trial because YouTube kept putting it in my suggested…..the prosecutors and defense have wildly different stories they explained in opening statements….the defense seemed to have credible explanations for most of what the prosecutors are using as evidence of murder...

It appears to be a Kevlar vest….a bullet proof vest of some kind. I would assume the authorities have received some threats against the defendants life. I’ve noticed in some of the cases the accused will have a Kevlar vest of one kind or another on before the trial starts. My opinion only.

Today there is a hearing involving the search warrants issued and probable cause for those warrants. It sounds to me that the police had more probable cause then they put on papers for the judge issuing the search warrants so defense wants the search warrants and any evidence from those search...

Apparently the judge in this case has granted an extension so court will not start until January 30th, 2023 instead of November 2022……I was looking forward to this starting soon. my opinion only.

I went and watched the interrogation video too….oh my she really thought she would just flounce in and out, explain their game and go on her merry way. I am shocked at these people who think they do not need a lawyer and think they can drop words and walk out. First rule of thumb, lawyer...

The pretrial motion was for sealed jury names which is why they are using jury numbers to poll……my opinion only.

The court used to ask the defendant to stand as the verdict was read….apparently the courts don’t do that anymore……

He is acting in a manner that a convicted killer would act…..hands clasped, head down….I would imagine the voices in his head are screaming but thank goodness they are staying in his head right now…..perhaps planning his appeal…..my opinion only.

Well, if mr brooks can get one person to speak on his behalf I would be surprised…..now I’m pretty sure he could get a lot of individuals who have had dealings with him to speak on how he impacted her/his life in a negative context…..my opinion only.
