This all feels very David Schultz, being a truck driver on a run who went missing. I'm going to bet that, like David, Brian is somewhere with in a ~1.5 mile radius of the truck.
Welp, it's official. Caleb joins Brian Shaffer and Sebastian Rogers on ErinC's List of Cases Where I Have No Flipping Clue What Happened. :confused:I just can't find anything that makes any one theory stick out as being more plausible. I hate when this happens!
I see that this was a Marine base. That tattoo looks to me like one of the old-fashioned styles you'd see sailors have, so I'm wondering if she got this done at a shop/person that catered to sailors. That is making me also think military wife. MOO, IMO, etc
Honestly, we don't know that they didn't have one. A gun is only as useful as the person who operates it, and someone without LE or military training might not be able to draw quickly enough for it to be useful. Also, killing someone isn't easy for most (MOST) people. If they hesitate even for a...
I didn't read through the last four pages before posting, so forgive me if it's been previously stated- but I wonder if the child that SA'd Sebastian also had special needs of some sort and that was the real reason for not prosecuting. A lot of, mainly well-intentioned, prosecutors I've dealt...
I'm from southeastern Ohio and this case has been SCREAMING vibes of Rhoden family massacre ever since it started. I just hope it doesn't take as long as that did to get arrests. IMO, MOO, etc.
I think many people just underestimate how strong currents can get. Years ago, I was in a situation where I had no choice but to drive through water to get to safety. (NEVER EVER DO THAT unless it is life and death) I made it successfully, and when I stopped at the first gas station past the...
Brian's case is one of the very few I've ever followed where I can honestly say I have absolutely no idea what happened. Most cases, one can come up with at least a pretty darn good suspicion as to what happened- not here.
I wish authorities had a better picture. Going by that one alone, the girl could be sitting right next to me on the subway and I wouldn't recognize her.
It certainly isn't impossible, but I'd say he likely didn't. MANY Americans never learn to swim- unless you live on the coasts, it can be really hard to get access. While this is changing, a lot of schools don't have pools- mine didn't and neither does the one here where we live, so of course we...
I should hope that they also undertake action to deal with the generational poverty and societal neglect that leads to the formation of gangs, societies of crime, mafia, etc. if they are going to do something this extreme.
I'm pretty good with the Google-fu and literally all I can find on him is this thread and his NamUs profile. Seems really strange for there to be so little. I don't suppose we have a DoB anywhere- there seem to be an awful lot of Joseph Patrick Hayeses who are clearly not him for one reason...
I was afraid it was something like this when they didn't just come out and say what was wrong. Very best wishes to her, she deserves all the good vibes we can send.
I can't help but think about this stepdad in comparison to Riley Strain's stepdad, who is out there digging through Nashville trying to find Riley. MOO.
Wonder if these are the people that were on the video clip- I can't remember for the life of me where it is- where we see Riley walk past I believe two people, they seem to say something to him and he responds. I remember (I swear it's SOMEWHERE in these threads) that it looked like a couple...
Help was certainly available, but I wonder if she knew that. They were from another country, where there might not have been a robust system for help, so it didn't occur to ask here. Also, authorities don't always advertise what is available, and even if they do, it can be labyrinthine to apply...
