I find it a little odd that he texted and FT’d his mother. I was in a sorority and I have known lots of fraternity boys. I would think that at an out of town function with drinking, the last person they’d be thinking about is mother…JMO

I don’t feel like anyone was directly involved either. <modsnip: not victim friendly> It’s going to all come out eventually.

In the video it looked like he hit his head; however, IMO, there is no possible way that anyone can know how hard he hit, where he hit (on his head), etc. Furthermore, people hit their heads all the time! If the autopsies do not say “head injury”…IMO, that theory needs to be dropped.

Is it not plausible that he fell in the river and kicked his boots off, then took his jeans off-in an attempt to make it easier to stay above water? Even though he was an excellent swimmer, being drugged or drunk would make swimming more difficult-especially if the current was moderately fast...

If this is not allowed, I apologize, and please delete! Does anyone else (besides me) think this could possibly be a hoax that the mother orchestrated?

After listening to the 911 call again, and hearing the whispered, “down in the river,” I think the fraternity brothers know exactly what happened to Riley. Why are none of the Delta Chi brothers in Nashville helping look for him? It makes no sense.

If someone took his phone, they would likely remove the SIM card immediately. I asked my 16 year old son if that would then stop the phone from pinging. He said that it would no longer ping at cell towers, but (I don’t know if this is true or not) if it were the phone of someone in our family...

In my own personal experience, he appears to be completely out of his mind drunk, or has been roofied.
