Hi folks! I haven’t posted in ages and I’m sure this has been discussed, but my thought from the beginning when his family said he went to the reserve: he is long gone. He is probably out of the country by now.
One option: years ago we sailed around the waters of Florida and the Caribbean...
We hit a submerged object - and it stopped the boat dead in it's track. We were going nearly hull speed at approx. 6mph. I was down below and had just put our son down for nap, so I was on all fours on the aft bunk, facing forward about to climb down, when we hit. I flew 3 or 4 feet through...
We lived on a sailboat for over a year and sailed throughout The Bahamas. There are so many red flags with this story that I don't even know where to start. First of all, catamarans are more difficult to 'sink' that a monohull. Some have been found years later, floating just below the...
Case of missing St. Anthony woman still a high priority file
"Although there has been little in the way of visible activity in and around St. Anthony, the police investigation into the whereabouts of Jennifer Lynn Hillier-Penney continues."...
Her phone has been located (car still missing) and a Facebook page set up:

Yes. We've been there and it is so true about being hard to search. We also have friends who live there. Because it's a coastal town, I think that's one reason they are looking in the water. Her brother and others have asked for help in trying to locate her. I think there is some suspicion...
Hoosier952, I'm not sure about the water, other than there's a lot of it there. But they have called off the search. She was evidently saying with her estranged husband at the time she disappeared.
Search complete, but police say no sign of missing woman Jennifer Hillier-Penney...
We have friends in the area who say that there doesn't seem to be much searching going on, perhaps because they are so far from the city.

Ground search underway for missing St. Anthony woman

FYI, Annie McCann went to the same middle school and high school as Hannah Graham -- the same ones my kids go to. It's a lot for one community, although different neighborhoods.
Speaking of security, the route from AFB to the Vatican's Apostolic Nunciature went past my office yesterday. I had already left but when I did, there was a heavy police presence at every intersection waiting to close it off when the Pope came through.
I'm not Catholic but I do like this Pope.
Just seeing this case for the first time. So reminiscent of the case in Georgia. I glanced at the blog. UGH! Talking about Halloween and almost breaking something....? So self-serving. Infuriating.
Something is up with this case.
The sign in our neighborhood, a couple of blocks from her parents' home. It previously said 'Bring Hannah Home'. The yellow ribbons are still up. I think Hannah and her family is in everyone's heart around here right now.
There's just something about the way that these two girls were taken by the same individual, in the same town, and that Hannah's body (more than likely) was found a day after the 5th anniversary of Morgan's body being located.
I believe it was Gil Harrington who said yesterday that this will...
Thinking of Hannah and her family back here in Alexandria. There are so many yellow ribbons in front of homes in our neighborhood, but unfortunately it will be of little comfort to her parents, who would much rather have their little girl home.
I came here to post about this story and discuss it. My DH actually brought this podcast to my attention, which is unusual because he never follows crime cases. But he heard it somewhere and got wrapped up in it.
I don't know if Adnan is guilty or not, but he didn't get a fair trial, IMO...
I could be wrong, but the way I've been interpreting things is that she did not want to follow through. Without her testimony against him, they really wouldn't have a case. I'm sure they probably discussed it with the victim beforehand, and decided that if put on the stand, she was not going...
This. A million times over. Morgan Harrington and Hannah Graham would more than likely be with us - and a woman in Fairfax would have been spared a brutal rape.
