I haven't followed along with Gabe's story recently but I am so angry to see that Elizabeth was released. As long as Gabriel is missing she should be locked up. She sentenced both Logan and his baby to a life sentence without each other, she should have to serve one as well.

Just to clarify - I am not bashing the mom, I am just thinking that I doubt she would be defending or covering for him because I don't think they have been together very long. I feel that she is likely cooperating fully - JMO. I think that she made a horrible, fatal, life-altering decision...

I think that most Mennonites have electricity, tvs and phones. It is the Amish who do not. My kids go to school with Mennonites and they have cell phones.

Turkey season was all of May up here.

I was just talking about that - my childhood 4H camp is in Owl's Head. They start training two weeks ahead which is now. I am very nervous about the staff up there.

Previous renters could have left food. The camp next door to ours is a rental (my cousin's place) and every week he has to come up and clean it out and there is always a ton of leftover food. Turkey season was in May so the cabin may have had recent renters or the COs could have been up last...

My husband would not run - he would go after anyone who had broke into our camp, escapee or not.

I think that the tools may have been left without blades/bits/etc. So getting them just those small pieces would be enough. I know that doesn't explain how they got through the first cell wall though.

Well, my friend's BIL, who is CERT, was heading to his cabin just two miles from the subject cabin, to check. So that is two cabins in two miles owned/used by COs.

I don't really find it all that surprising since the prison is one of the biggest employers up in that area, so the odds of a camp being owned by COs doesn't seem all that implausible as just a coincidence.

Our camp has electricity, running water, and direct tv. I think it may be considered more of a cottage, but we call it a camp. My cousin has a hunting camp (more like a drinking camp) not too far from this area being searched and it started as an aluminum camper and then became a rustic cabin...
