For once (and probably only time) I agree with the defense. What happened between DJT and SD prior to the hush money negotiations has nothing to do with this case.
This only opens up avenues for a successful appeal if DJT gets convicted.
Yes, kids kill kids, but the extent that the parents (or just Patsy) went to cover up the initial injuries (making sure JBR was dead, multiple drafts for the ransom note, etc, etc) speaks to desperate self preservation.
If Burke had injured JBR, even intentionally, there would have been a call...
Guess I should have specified his announcement to run for POTUS in 2015. I mistakenly assumed that would be obvious since he's given no indication, at any point, that he wasn't going to pursue (and should be in) that office.
The 2022 "announcement" was the formality of all formalities.
<modsnip: discussing other posters> Fact is DJT has committed and admitted (bragged about) to committing crimes his whole adult life. His ego has demanded that he gets recognized for getting away with crime. That's what malignant narcissists do. They brag about getting over due to how special...
I haven't read up on this case but have to wonder if there is a socioeconomic angle to the exclusions.
No idea how these transplants work, but I'm sure they are expensive and this wouldn't be the first time I've heard of patients being refused proper treatment due to their ability to pay...
Undoubtedly LE checked this when they got his phone. The PCA shows how thorough LE was in collecting evidence and verifying it with other evidence. This isn't a game changer, it's a "we've got nothing else" hail mary.
They can pay an expert-for-hire to say anything they want him/her to say...
All this time to come up with something reasonably creative, and this is all they could come up with? They had to have bouts of uncontrollable laughter while writing this, I know I did while reading it.
"Yes, he was out that night (which they can't refute), but doing something else." Very...
It's a pretty one sided piece, clearly meant to inflame folks against the FBI for the pending law suit. Probably want to take it with a grain of salt or 12.
The FBI had an informant pointing fingers at the Taylors. I feel for the Taylor family and what they went thru, but the FBI didn't pick...
One thing that blows my mind about this situation is why there weren't tugs on each side of the ship guiding it out to open water (or in to port)?
When I was in the navy, stationed on an aircraft carrier, it seemed we always had tugs on each side until we hit open water. Perhaps it's a...
History says this guy is going to kill (and mutilate) again. Too much history with other similar offenders to think this will end up any other way.
Can't believe they let this guy out.
"Scott Peterson writes "I am innocent""
Of course, one has to consider that that "I am innocent" is coming from a proven psychopath, pathological liar and malignant narcissist. A little critical thinking would head off this nonsense, but I suspect this all is being driven by a future...
Yet another polygraph failure that left a murderer out on the streets.
It's embarrassing that LE in this country (and Canada) rely on and trust the results of these completely unreliable "tools". Sarcastically speaking, they'd probably get more accurate information from a psychic than these...
