How many times has Trump been found guilty of contempt in this case alone? He talks about not being able to defend himself, he can't say a word-even though he never stops talking. His restrictions are not to attack the jury, not to attack the judge's family-the same as every criminal defendant...
Not really like Cohen. The tax evasion was more of a technicality, wouldn't you say? Cohen is one of many of Trump's lawyers who have been charged with crimes in connection to Trump, strange!
I think Cohen is the perfect example of redemption. He did something wrong, paid a very heavy price...
Exactly!
This time he is sitting in a criminal court though, facing charges. You never know what will happen with a jury, but it's something that he is facing charges.
I know that sometimes it is hard to discern causality and correlation, but this doesn't seem to be one of those times. At...
They have had compelling evidence about the business records from people who worked with Trump for a long time, and from someone who still works for him,(apparently when she testified, Eric Trump-her now boss-came into court for the first time to watch her testimony, either to support her or...
Yes, thank you. It seems such an oddity, perhaps it's an unidentified, post wash stain on the bathmat, rather than the definite DNA matched stain that I had remembered. I'm really looking forward to hearing some facts about this case. I think the police might have been really clever solving this
Daybell, Morphew and Trump cases for me, but I'll make time! So little is know about this case, I can't wait to have the story emerge.
(Something that has been bugging me- I remember reading that the suspect in this case showered at a motel after the crime, and that blood from one or both of...
One of the sisters from True Crime Squad, (podcast), apparently contacted the company that produced Tylee's necklace, and the company is arranging to produce a pendant in Tylee's memory, with part of the proceeds from any sales being donated to charities to keep children safe. I think I heard...
Oh, and the thought of Tammy being dismissed as she has been by the defence, is so very sad to me. I understand why the Daybell children may feel conflicted, but I will personally be devastated if not one of them stands up for her. She was murdered, in her bed, by her husband so that he could...
Ha, finally finished a giant catch up. You guys are such good company for this trial. I've been following since the early days of the children going missing. Your thoughtful and informative posts are really appreciated. (As are the funny ones!)
At last, some "good news", the bodies located. It must be an enormous relief for their loved ones. This is such a tragic story. It's like this guy was going to murder someone, some time, somewhere. What a waste.
@Zedzded
In the probable cause part of the application, I couldn't understand whether the police thought Donna was following the progress of the investigations online, and that was one reason that wanted access to her digital life. Or, did they actually find that she had, in their already...
I'm a bit confused, can anybody clarify whether the police thought there might be evidence of Donna Sue searching online for updates to the murder, or that there actually was such evidence?
How very sad for these two young men, and their families. I'm also sympathetic to the family of the murderer, what a terrible shock for them too. A terrible waste of life.
I think that apart from this time, he will mostly be locked up in a dorm, full of other protected management prisoners. The library would be an escape.
