Depending n what app was used, LE could get a warrant for the transcripts of the texts. I use a texting app and it records every text coming in and going out. I also can make phone calls from it. MOO

It will be easy to find Dylan's texting apps. iTunes keeps track of every app, songs, etc that is "purchased" (money or free).

I don't think the wording between "kidnapping" or "abduction" really matter on the search warrants. I think it was just two different people that typed out the warrants. One uses kidnapping the other abducted. I am basing this off this site that uses the words interchangeably. IMO, MOO, JMO...
