It seems from the photos and stated on the report, that Jason Callahan wore eye glasses. Does anyone know if there were eye glasses found at the scene of the accident or whether Jason Doe had contact lenses in?

Even though I want GD to get his name, my heart would prefer for Jason C to be reunited with his mother. Is something being done to establish whether Jason P Callahan is still out there?

When a new case is entered and when the DNA is received , does NamUs do an automatic DNA comparison to all other cases in the system?

Jason had a second tattoo not the star. Unfortunately I can't attach the image. Has anyone seen it and have any ideas?

Jason had two tattoos, one a star and the other faded vein-like. The faded one: what could it be and why is it so faded!

How old would you judge the star tattoo? And what about his other tattoo...what could the design be and how old does it look?

HIM was called HER in Us, then bought the rights to the name from HiS. Ville Vale designed the symbol in Nov 1996 on his 20th birthday. But what if that's just a marketing ploy and the symbol was around before 1995, even maybe from HiS?

Could be, but the big question is why was he never declared missing? I'm leaning toward the idea that his family knew it was him in the accident and never claimed his body. I also don't think his name was Jason.

It would be a great pity if they were sitting on important information, because alot of people have invested alot of time in this case. Why would it be so important for them to keep information from the public?

If you read the main thread you'll see that they were at the fathers house (if that was GD that was with the driver) together. I can't remember where the driver lived right now, but if my memory serves me correct, the driver had seen his girlfriend, then stoppedin at the dad before going on to...

You would think that if it was a case of his family not claiming him because they had no money at that time, that if they now knew how many people care and want to give him his name back, that they would be willing to disclose.

I'm very far from the USA and circusion is very common. There are health, religion and personal preferance reasons.

Two and a half months left till 18 years gone! Are there any plans to run a story in the same local paper as all those years ago?

Thanks for that. I would have thought that that was the case - no-one wins by not reporting a runaway in this situation.
