No that's the Baptist.

Off topic but Texans will get it.... if you're poor in Texas and in trouble with the law you go to juvenile hall, if you're parents are rich you go to SMU.

off topic response....
i grew up walking distance to SMU and my screwed up uncle went there....and during his adult life was in and out of prison....lol

your totally unexpected comment made me laugh...

Sociopaths don't feel or understand jealousy. That's why she can so quickly state that she was not jealous. I don't think she was. TA threatened to expose her as a lying scheming sociopath. IMO - that's why JA killed him. He likely did "corner" her on her behaviours and threatened to expose her on the fertile PPL/Mormon "field of dreams" that she had found herself in! Lot's of alternate "targets" ready for the picking...He was threatening her livelihood (ability to move on within the same community) and as such, she had to obliterate him.

I agree that him calling her out as a sociopath was the catalyst for his murder. I also think that her need to control could be mistaken for jealousy by most people-kwim?

They said he had cuts on his feet and ankles last night.

So--that's all I know.

I've seen the autopsy photos.

Travis's left heel and ankle were lacerated.

He also suffered contusions to lower legs/ankles.

These inflicted injuries are documented in the autopsy report as well.

Manner of death = homicide

So I thought the questions about her relationship with her parents were interesting.
Strained.

ITA there are some decent elements of her drawings but they look high school level at best IMO, and a lot of it has to do with the faces and eyes especially!! They are plastic looking almost in the face, like a drawing of a low quality wax museum person or something? Hard to describe but they don't have life, they aren't shaded like other parts of her drawing are. They are expressionless and unfinished looking to me, and are very reminiscent of her blank eyes.

Monet and Van Gogh.................RIGHT JODI :laughcry: :floorlaugh:

ETA: I'm talkin' about Jodi and look at the number of my post :gasp: 666!!!

My posts are getting messed up in other posts...uggggg

You can see that he definitely was stabbed in the feet in the 33rd photo at this link.

Repeating my earlier post:

On Travis' Blog, Monday, May 5, 2008 Introduction to "Raising You" he says "I learned how to turn so that when she hit me she would strike my back and arms, the pain was less there....every time she would scream those words I would hear his words instead, every time I would feel her fist sink into my back, I could feel my Grandfather’s hands on my shoulders, and I knew she couldn’t reach what was great inside of me."

It makes me so sad and sick to think of him reverting to childhood trauma habits while Jodi was sinking a knife in his back and the words she probably said.

And no matter what anybody on any site, tv show, etc. says regarding her version of events----HE HAD STABS ON THE BOTTOM OF HIS FEET! As a kid, I remember putting my feet up to protect myself when fighting with my sisters. Why would anyone protecting themselves think to stab someone in the BOTTOM of their feet???

oh yes I know about the basket and the bailiff collecting them but at this point are we sure that they are allowed more questions?

My understanding is yes...in the event that these questions led to additional. But I think it's after both attorneys go... I'm sure a lawyer can confirm for sure.

JA takes such offence to TA "supposedly" having told her that "a five year old can hold a camera better than you do"...Maybe somewhere in one of their arguments he actually did say something like that but it's so strange that this one phrase stays with her. Then today, she talked about her artwork possibly being hung beside famous artists' work. JA REALLY does think she's an artist. "I'm an artist and a photographer..."

The photos of TA in the shower on the day he died? Not a shred of artistic in anything there. JM should ask her about those photos. What is artistic about each of them and why she chose those angles and that lighting and that setting? Those WERE NOT artistic photographs. She was just snapping! For sure she would say that she didn't know how to use TA's camera but really? She's a "photographer"? An "artist"?

moo

Two cameras, oh my.
No pics of any abuse to her ever on her cameras.
She can record phone sex, and video a drunken woman, and yet she fails to record bruises and her broken finger. Who can believe any of this?

She is the worst "photographer" I've heard of. Didn't seem to make any money. Never document her "injuries". Captures the murder she commits. Captures incriminating sex photos. Doesn't understand how to delete pictures or work her camera or his.
Fraud.

I agree that him calling her out as a sociopath was the catalyst for his murder. I also think that her need to control could be mistaken for jealousy by most people-kwim?

I liked the progression of events anagrammy posted. But I think this was the last straw before the plan began.

Wasn't that message 5/26? Then boom, gun stolen 5/28 and then, 5 days later, she's on the road.

Oh come ON, Arias!! Seriously, she doesn't know if "Calvin" was a dishwasher at the restaurant or a customer?? No one gets confused between a co-worker and a customer. She said it was a small establishment.

I'd like to put my fingers into a nice brass knuckle plate and give her a few smacks.

Every time I see that stinkin finger, I want to grab at it and mangle it so that she knows what a broken finger really is. :rocker:

I don't know much, but this I do know Travis Alexander is more in death than jodie arias was or will ever be in life.

He is surrounded by love and affection from family, friends and strangers. She can't take that away.

Monet and Van Gogh.................RIGHT JODI :laughcry: :floorlaugh:

she stopped herself as she was about to say, and I imagine it this way because she was downright giddy with herself at the question: I WAS GOING TO BE DISPLAYED RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE LEGENDS....but changed mid sentence to 'a wonderful opportunity'.....OMG..

No kidding!!!!! It is just blowing my mind too! And, it's only going to get worse for her! Their follow up questions are going to try to hone her in even more. And, you are right, she does think that things are going well for her. That's because of her mental "condition" (narcissistic sociopath).

I know we all joke a lot here about this, but I have to make the point that this is most likely a once in a lifetime experience for the majority here to see. This trial will absolutely be used in law schools around the country in the future, for many more reasons than to show why you don't put your client on the stand in a case like this. I really want to point out that people who read and post here at WS are very lucky to be able to see this trial because we probably will never see it again in our lifetimes.
