I think too much emphasis is being placed on her putting on a blazer, maybe because we all remember from before. She could have put it in to look smarter or not insane or more respectable.... any number of reasons.
As to why family kicked out. Still trying to wrap my brain around that one.
Especially the way they trotted this circus out right after Tanisha and Steven's statements. Try and tell me that wasn't planned to lessen the impact on the jury from the two VIS. I was just reading the tweets, and I started tearing up all over again.
