Wonder what the Pope thinks about this.
I was thinking the same thing earlier. IF it is/was one of the parents I can't believe they had the audacity to want (and received) an audience before the Pope.

Oh, I think I can. Gerry is a major narcissist.
I can't imagine what Pope Benedict must be thinking, but I imagine he is in prayer for the whole situation and everyone involved, and probably feels a bit duped. He's only human.

Wow, how horrible...if that was when she was killed. I can't imagine knowing that my daughter was killed by her mother and was screaming for me to help her...if that's what happened.
Cal
So you are saying that the person or persons who had rented that car and they are the ones who killed Madeleine and then Kate and Gerry just happened to rent that same car????
Is that what you are saying?
Yes, duped that's a good word.
What is the motive for killing this little girl? Did they beat her to death?
My daughter is going to be 3 in a couple weeks and she is the exact same age as Maddie. I can tell you, man, the terrible 2's are here full swing and sometimes I just don't know what to do with her as far as discipline. I assume its possible her parents lost their temper. With 3 kids under 3 they have their hands full.

Colomom is your friend still there? Have you had any new news from them coming out?
Not at all. IF the car was rented 25 days AFTER Madelaine disappeared, who rented it prior to the McCanns? There may have been several people, who knows. Not only that, BUT, if the blood WAS Madelaine's, where was the body for the 25 days prior to being put in the car?
I'm beginning to wonder if 25 days is the correct amount of time.
That was the first thing that popped into my head....so I can't imagine they have not investigated that already.

"It roughly says that Kate has explained to the PJ that the cadaver odour is to do with her profession as a GP, having encountered a few cases of death (at least six she says) in her job prior to going on holiday to PDL. When asked about the scent of death on Cuddle Cat she says that's due to the same reason, as she takes the toy to work with her."
