Aaron Hernandez Questioned By Police In Homicide Investigation.(Deadspin)

According to multiple reports, Boston police have questioned Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez as part of an investigation into the possible homicide of a 27-year-old Boston man, and may be interested in searching Hernandez's home.

A source tells Sports Illustrated that Hernandez is not believed to be a suspect, but that a car that was rented in his name has become a piece of evidence:
...
According to the Sun Chronicle of Attleboro, Mass., the vehicle is registered to Enterprise and investigators were hoping to analyze it for fingerprints. A source said Hernandez's name is tied to that rental vehicle.
---
ABC describes the victim as an "associate" of Hernandez, and elaborates on the nature Hernandez's interactions with the cops as well as the rental car's connection to the possible crime:
---
Hernandez has been uncooperative with police since the body of a 27-year-old man was found in an industrial park not far from the Patriot player's North Attleboro home, two law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Oh, my...Well, if true, NE might need a tight end.

:blushing:

It does sound a bit, how would one say, HINKY? No, "not believed to be a suspect," but victim is "an associate" driving the car rented by the guy, and the former's body winds up in the same basic neighborhood. Hmmmm.....

Not sure if unfortunate victim has been named yet; haven't found it anyway.

I didn't see it either. Apparently, this guy went to the Ray Lewis school of not talking...Is he missing a white suit too? OK, I will go back to my corner...LOL

Some reports saying "at least a dozen" police entered Hernandez's home to search it.

Didn't see that on MSM, just read it in googling around.

I watched part of the report on ESPN.com, and they are relying on SI.com, so????

...Citing an unnamed source, SI.com reported that Hernandez was not believed to be a suspect, but a vehicle rented in his name appears to be a key piece of evidence.

ABC News reported that Hernandez has not been cooperative and investigators wanted a warrant Tuesday to search his home. The ABC News report also cited unnamed sources. SI.com later reported that police searched Hernandez's home Tuesday night, and two men were escorted from the scene separately, but they were not in handcuffs....

Is he Ray Lewis Jr. now?

The guy has been in and out of trouble since his college days. Even if he's not involved, the fact that his name is even connected is not a good look for him, personally or professionally.

If Hernandez is charged, I think the trial should be moved out of Boston due to the Patriots fans that might cut him some slack. Somewhere he could get an impartial jury. Like: Buffalo, Miami and NYC are very good areas for a trial for Aaron. JMO
