I would like to ask anyone who knows this answer to plaease answer me....

Do we know 100% that Terri Horman had her cell phone that day?
I know her cell phone was pinging, but who had it?

I'll tell you one thing, if I were an investigative reporter in that room I'd have walked out and then really started digging before I'd genuflect and bow to Kaine's agenda. I mean seriously, who does he think he is?

O/T..Reminds me of my oldest daughter's x- husband...
True story.. When my husband passed away almost nine years ago he told people who came to our home before and after the funeral to leave..He is an aspy.. He has no concept of how to relate to or interact with other people...He is over forty now, and still doesn't..JMO

AND AND...why didn't they start holding these "conferences" the day of or after Kyron disappearance when it could have had the most impact???

I do not think I have ever seen anyone try to control the media like KH has. Hummm.

This whole thing is actually starting to annoy me. :furious: It is like this family is playing a game.

Respectfully snipped for space:

BBM: Yes, why, and second why, why just finding out about Kyron's life threatening allergy and birthmark.

Brings to mind cold pizza. I just figured it out in my whacko head.

And, why no plea to Kyron today? No we love you Kryon? And more why...................

The statement wasn't what I expected, but then I have the strong feeling it was not directed at me. It was a desperate measure to do something to try to get Kyron back. I feel for DY, because that must have been incredibly hard to do, to deliver. I don't even want to analyze it, though I could. Since the horror going on isn't about me, I don't take offense at what they feel they have to do to try to save their little boy, if there is any chance at all they can. They owe me nothing and him everything, and his life is at stake. The press will attend to their own hurt feelings, and will be fine as long as they have a story.

Thank you dear Amethyst for writing the above.

I don't see any evidence that the Oregonian was thrown out. Does anybody see anything other than the WW article? Nothing in the Oregonian's report seems to indicate that.

From the article:

The reporter at the scene said The Oregonian had somehow gotten back on the family’s good side and was among those waiting outside to hear the prepared statement.

Did they ever speak to Kyron today or reassure him? That would make sense if they "know" he is alive. Or address a plea to whomever they think must be holding him? Obviously, Terri does not have him.

I hope those of you who believe absolutely that LE is on the ball and knows what happened in this case are right.

I'm don't.

I don't think there is official statement that her phone pinged on the Island. It was, I think, WW.

NOPE! That is still in question. And who drove the truck AFTER Kyron was at school and the times. Does Intel use a punch in timeclock or can you just access your computer or a work partner use it?

I've had another good look through AmandaReckonwiths' album and I think I can see the birth mark on this one (hopefully I can work out how to upload the photo!)

If you look at around 11o'clock to the bridge of his sunglasses (above to the left - as we are looking at it) I think it's either that or I need to clean the laptop screen again.

I just wish he could be found - this case is baffling. Still praying for you Kyron

If they really think that Kyron is alive, why not appeal to whoever has him as well as to Terri?

We don't even KNOW that she has a cell phone, although just about everyone does these days. No information from LE has confirmed that she has one or that it pinged anywhere at all, even at her home or the school, where we know for a fact that she was seen that day.

I've never even seen it confirmed that she even owned a cell phone.

But then came Shane Kavanaugh and Bryan Denson of The Oregonian.

Horman said the family didn’t like The Oregonian’s coverage and wanted them to leave. Horman said the daily had failed to be a “team player.”

“This is a team, and if we’re not going to play as a team, there’s no point in being here,” Horman said. “This is about Kyron.”

Denson objected, saying he’s new to the story and after 28 years in journalism he’s “a pretty good reporter.” But there was no arguing. The family wanted The O gone, and a woman who said she’s a manager at the church escorted them out. The biggest newspaper in the state had been eighty-sixed.

Team player????

Excuse me, this is the media. They aren't supposed to be on anyone's "team". When that was said, every reporter in the room should have walked out.

This post is too good, wanted it out here again.I can't believe the STATE newspaper kicked out, unreal.

I'm quoting myself (gak!) but ... other media sources have reported it as well.
Source

Investigators have reportedly reviewed Terri Horman's cell phone records and given her a second polygraph exam.

If they really think that Kyron is alive, why not appeal to whoever has him as well as to Terri?

And if they really think he's alive, why not say something so it will go out on TV on the chance he could hear it and be comforted by it?

I'm just completely baffled.

Whatever's going on, we are in for a ride on this one for sure!

Listen up. You need to look at Kyron. Focus on Kyron.

Don't look at me. Don't look at us. Well, I guess you can look at her now - but only if you leave us out of it. So no divorce questions. nuh uh.

We're a team. There is no I in team. There is no WW in team. There is a T in team. Actually, there used to be two T's in Team, but we got rid of Terri, because well...that's for us to know and for you to just accept. Anyway there is only one T in Team and we went with the detective.

By the way, LE manages our team, and they do a great job. Oh, and, Strawberries and Bees! You will want to know that to be on this team.

Now broadcast this:

Terri, you're off our team. We're sick and tired of this hide and seek game you are playing with Kyron. We're done with it, bring him home for dinner now. Everybody else, keep looking for Kyron.

Thank you. Come back Monday. If you've been a team player over the weekend, we'll tell you his shoe size.

IMO, Message got across. Loud & clear. I just wish, for their sakes, they had let some fancy PR dude deliver it so they could just be the parents.

Also, both The Oregonian and WW printed pieces about Kaine Horman's troubled past, with regard to Desiree Young and her leaving him when she was 8 months pregnant and filing a RO against him.

Not being a team player could merely be truthful reporting about his own less than stellar past. I say what's good for the goose (Terri, of course), is good for the gander. Kaine obviously disagrees.

My thoughts exactly and let us not forget the issue about sexual abuse and his brother was also printed there and in the Oregonian...

Very impressive post!!

Actually, we don't know her cell was pinging. That came from anonymous sources not connected to the investigation.

Something Gates said in an early press conference now (considering this circus of events) seems eerily prescient -- to the effect that information released by LE are the facts. His stress, not mine.
