Details of Disappearance
Miller was last seen in Marmaduke, Arkansas on December 6, 1997. Her husband stated she returned home that day after visiting a friend. He fell asleep on the couch, and when he woke up later, she was gone again. Her husband stated he never saw her again, but that a few days later someone came to the residence and took some money and clothes.

The circumstances of Miller's disappearance are unclear. She left behind two children, and her husband died in 2011. Miller isn't mentioned in his obituary. Her case remains unsolved.

Circumstances of Disappearance
On December 6, 1997, Dickie Miller, the husband of Lavonne Miller (maiden name Palmer), stated Lavonne returned home from visiting a friend. Mr. Miller fell asleep on the couch and when he awoke Lavonne was gone. Mr. Miller stated that a few days later someone entered the residence and took some clothing and money. Lavonne Miller has not been seen or heard from since. She left behind two children. Dickie Miller passed away on November 9, 2011.

So many questions! Was the husband actually good to her, was it a happy relationship? Who was the friend she visited with? What about her children and other relatives or community members-were there organized searches? Greene County, AR is big enough with plenty of places to hide things. Plus, it's not far from the Missouri border. Memphis, TN is not far either. Lots of places and areas to hide things! I hope her family gets answers and this case is solved!
 
**BUMPING** April 2024. Somebody knows something. Was there ever an actual investigation or search? The devil is in the details.
