Australia Australia - Kylie Blackwood, 42, Pakenham, Vic, 1 Aug 2013

In my reading of the MSM articles... I may have missed the answer to the following questions... But...

- who was the last person to see Kylie alive on the day she was murdered...

- Is there evidence that she really did go shopping that day?

JMO...

If Kykie was attacked by a person that was infatuated with her...

I wonder how that person and Kylie are (were) connected...

work?

children's school?

church?

social gatherings?

???

Just some thoughts...

The murder occurred August 1st... Two and one-half months ago...

I would imagine LE would have CCTV tapes (term?) from the neighbors by now... Or even from the Blackwoods' home...

I wonder if LE may have found some clues from the footage that they have not shared with the public yet?

speaking of surveillance footage...

I wonder if the Blackwoods had in-home surveillance cams... And if they seem to have been tampered with...

this could indicate the killer was familiar with the inside of the home... And/or knew about the workings of the cameras...

I imagine LE is checking EVERYONE out... But I wonder if the home had been worked on recently... New appliances installed... Piping fixed... Etc...

Great questions Clue!! Good point. What were her movements that day? Was she with somebody just before this happened?? etc etc......So much we need to know about the detail in this case (as opposed to just the detail about their family background).

Hopefully we find something out soon

The man the tradesman saw "looking at the Blackwood's home", leaving then returning after KB got home really interests me.

OCTOBER 12, 2013

Excerpt: "A FACE image of the possible killer, based on the description given by the tradesman, was then distributed. It showed a man with facial hair, dark glasses, baseball cap and a hooded top.

The tradesman told police he saw this man in McCaffrey Rise looking at the Blackwood's home but then left the area. The worker then noticed Ms Blackwood come home, hearing her high heels on the concrete on her driveway as she placed something in the bin, ready for collection. She entered her home through the garage, leaving the roller door open. The same man then returned and was seen heading towards the home just before noon. About 20 minutes later, the suspect "hurriedly" walked away, possibly holding something close to his body."

In regard to the extensive MSM reports, I find it very odd that so much information about the children has been mentioned. Their names have been published along with the names of the schools they attend and are still attending. I just don't get this when their mother was brutally murdered and the murderer is still on the loose.

RETIRED homicide investigator Charlie Bezzina has examined more than 300 unexplained deaths during 37 years on the force.

Charlie Bezzina writes on how homicide investigators will examine the slaying of mother-of-three Kylie Blackwood

AUGUST 02, 2013

Excerpt: "My initial instinct tells me that this is may not be the work of a burglary gone wrong.

While subsequent investigation will establish the facts, very rarely would a burglar stand and fight, unless he or she was known to the victim, and they felt they needed to kill to protect their identity."

Twist in murder of Pakenham mum as mourners bid farewell

August 12, 2013

Excerpt: "7News can reveal that homicide detectives have found and interviewed the mysterious man in the grey striped hoodie.

He was seen lurking outside Kylie Blackwood's Pakenham home on the day she was murdered, and has been all but ruled out as her killer.

The man interviewed by police lives just streets away from Mrs Blackwood, and was found in possession of a grey striped hooded top seen as critical to identifying the killer.

But 7News understands he gave police a credible explanation as to why he was in McCaffrey Rise prior to the murder, and told them he was on a bus when the killing is likely to have happened."

Blackwood investigators search for third man

Sept. 19, 2013

"Homicide detectives are stepping up their investigation into the murder of Pakenham mother Kylie Blackwood as their search turns to a third man seen in the area at the time of her death.

The body of Ms Blackwood, 42, was discovered by her twin daughters in the family home in McCaffrey Rise about 3.40pm on August 1.

On Thursday, as the investigation neared the end of its seventh week, police set up an information caravan on The Avenue in Pakenham in an appeal for new information.

A new person of interest, the third sought in relation to the investigation, was seen near the Eagle Drive shops wearing black pants and a black hoodie shortly after Ms Blackwood's death."

If this hooded guy had nothing to do with Kylie's murder...

Then I sure would like to know WHAT he was doing there that day!

Confusion arose from sights TWO men wearing hoodies ...

One man was on a bus at the time of the killing...

the other man is "still at large"...
