Thought i posted this but maybe i didn’t this John Doe was found in Florida in 2019 and look a lot like Fisher i submitted it but I’m tempted to contact Scottsdale police to see if they maybe to see if it’s Fisher or at least do DNA testing on this John Doe only thing is height is off Unidentified Person / NamUs #UP65585

Forgot to mention: Fisher has a gold crown. If remains are found with intact dentals and a gold crown, worth looking deeper.

But sight on seen, I'd have to look twice to make sure it wasn't the same guy as they look very similar. For all anyone knows, Fisher could have killed this guy (or anyone) while hiding in the homeless community just to steal his ID

I see there was a shoe size 8in half. Robert fisher wasn’t a 8 in half.

I just watched a documentary on this case. In it the theory is posited that RF may have altered his finger prints. Does anyone have any thoughts on how feasible this is? TIA

''A substantial number of individuals who altered their prints were arrested for drug-related offenses, followed in measure by immigration-related offenses, theft, and violent crimes. Nearly all of the individuals with intentionally altered prints had extensive criminal records and various law enforcement encounters. Many were deported criminals who altered their fingerprints in an attempt to reenter the United States.
The CJIS Division categorized the alteration types based upon the suspected method used to mutilate the fingerprint. The alterations most frequently encountered were the vertical cut or slice, followed by the z-pattern cut, intentional burns, and unknown or uncategorized.
The vertical cut or slice modifies the fingerprint by scarring or distorting. Individuals cut down the middle of the fingertip, leaving a fairly straight cut on the fingerprint. In some instances an individual will pull the skin near the cut in different directions in an effort to generate an unusual fingerprint pattern when the fingertip heals.

The intent of the z-pattern cut is to scar and distort the natural fingerprint into an unnatural pattern. As with the vertical cut or slice, individuals cut the fingertip; however, in this case they cut a z-shaped pattern.

Using a heat or chemical source to burn the fingertip, the burn method is intended to scar or obliterate the print. If the affected area is small, fingerprint examiners can use other areas of the fingers that contain sufficient prints to attempt to establish identity.''

Another man the FBI is looking for is Robert William Fisher. The FBI says he’s an avid outdoorsman who’s wanted for killing his family members.

The FBI says he may have killed his wife and two young children before blowing up the family home in the early 2000s. The event took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, but the FBI says Fisher has ties to New Mexico and Florida.

The Crime Junkie podcast did an episode on Fisher. He’s also been the focus of a 2011 documentary by director Charlie Minn.

I agree... In this day and age, it would be damn near impossible for him to hide out and keep his tracks covered in the U.S. for this long; this isn't like the olden days when you could just start fresh with a dead kid's birth certificate—so much has changed now.

Although his actions would suggest he fled, there's no way that the money he withdrew would've been near enough to start over fresh. I think, perhaps, his initial plan was to flee but when he realized how difficult that would be, he tried his hardest to hide out somewhere—perhaps in those unforgiving caves out there—and perished.

I think we're more likely to discover his skeletal remains than discover him alive and living abroad.

In about a month from now will mark 23 years (April 10, 2001) since fugitive Robert Fisher allegedly killed his family, Mary, and two children Brittney, 12 and Bobby, 10 inside their home. Where is the narcissistic family annihilator’s remains…in a cave? Did someone help him leave Mary’s vehicle (and leaving the dog behind too) by picking him up from the woods (which wasn’t too far from a highway)? RF definitely appeared to be a person always wanting control and the final word… moo

Another anniversary of this has passed. I saw nothing on any news locally. I have always felt it was a dark cloud that shadowed my birthday, I am not sure when I noticed it was no longer Newsworthy but it looks like once he was removed from the FBI most wanted list the news stopped covering it. But I still thought of the family, forever haunted that this happened, I am sure their loved ones thought of them too. I wish there was some closure, someday , so we must not forget.

There's a chance he could be caught in Mexico / South America like Christian Lango was.

Thank you for this information. It does seem that, in some cases, criminals have been successful altering their prints.
