ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Update (April 21, 2020):
St. Petersburg police have identified 34-year-old Zachary Clouser as the man whose body was found Saturday afternoon near Vinoy Park.
The Medical Examiner's Office is still working to determine the cause of death and says it could take some time.
SPPD launched a death investigation after a decomposed body was found in the water, east of Vinoy Park at 2:08 this afternoon.
At this time there is no information on the individual's sex, identity or cause of death.
More information will be released when it becomes available.
