Communications Director with the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, told Dateline that Valdivia’s trial is set to begin on March 5, 2024. According to Anderson, Valdivia pleaded not guilty and is currently being held at the Tulare County Jail. Anderson also told Dateline that his co-defendant, Rosalina Lopez, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact. “[Lopez] was sentenced to three years in custody but was released after the plea due to time served awaiting trial,” Anderson told Dateline in an email. *Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 8:30am PT) - CA – Cecilia Bravo Cabrera (30) (last seen leaving the Tachi Palace Casino in Lemoore, Ca. just before 12:30am on June 9, 2016. She was driving her dark gray 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. She has never been heard from again. Five hours later, her car was found abandoned & burned in an orchard near Traver, Ca, 30 miles from the casino. There was no sign of her at the scene, Lemoore, not found.) - *Francisco Javier Yanez Valdivia (37/now 42) (estranged husband) arrested (12/13/16), charged & arraigned (12/14/18) with 1 felony count of murder & arson, 2 counts of possession marijuana for sale, 2 counts of cultivating marijuana & storing of it, 2 counts of conspiracy to commit a crime & 1 count theft of utilities service over $400. Plead not guilty. No bond.
Trial was set to begin on 10/10/23 continued on 3/5/23.

Hi there. Sorry about that. I was hospitalized for much of January after emergency gall bladder surgery and a subsequent small bowel obstruction. Ended up having three surgeries. I am finally feeling better and back to work and reading here.
I went on the court’s website just now. They had a hearing on 2/7 that pushed out all the motion and trial dates. The hearing today is off calendar. Here are the new dates. Unfortunately it looks like nothing will happen for another six months. Remind me to check in a month or two to see if they change anything.
