CA CA - Connie Minchaca, 17, Napa, 9 June 1978

The boyfriend should've been interrogated. Police also should've asked the store employees if they saw her over there.

Details of Disappearance
Connie was last seen at her Napa, California home on June 9, 1978. She was supposed to go to a party that evening, but she never arrived and has never been heard from again.

At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her father and dating a 25-year-old man. Her family didn't approve of the relationship and she was having problems with them as a result, and would sometimes sneak out at night through her bedroom window to see her boyfriend.

Connie ran away from home at least six times in the months prior to her June 1978 disappearance, but she left all her belongings behind when she was last seen and her family doesn't believe she run away and never contacted them again.

After her disappearance, her family received numerous anonymous, threatening phone calls. The caller was sometimes male and sometimes female, and the callers claimed they knew what had happened to Connie. Sometimes they claimed that she had been kidnapped and other times said she had been murdered. The callers have never been identified.

It's unclear what happened to Connie after her disappearance, but investigators don't believe she will be found alive. Her case remains unsolved.

This Valencia, CA Jane Doe found on 01/26/1980 with another Jane Doe seems worth submitting to me:

Female, White/Caucasian
17-24 years old
5'5"-5'9", 115-130lbs
Blondish-brown hair

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
1322UFCA

The facial similarities between the sketch and this photo of Connie are striking IMO.

It's about 5 to 6 hours from Napa to Valencia, depending on exactly what part of each town: Google Maps

Since there's no evidence either way that she died the night she disappeared, it's not unreasonable that she might have gone to the LA area.

There is very little information on Connie Minchaca in NAMUS.

This UID from Pennsylvania could be her:

11UFPA

https://identifyus.org/en/cases/5166

PA PA - Perry County - "Turquiose Doe" 11UFPA, 15-30, 20 June 1979 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

There are 47 exclusions, Connie is not one of them.

Connie has fillings, so does the UID.

Details such as height, hair color, and timing match.

Connie has dimples. Based on the artist sketch take a look at the cheeks, it looks as though the UID could have dimples if she smiled.

She was also wearing "Navaho or Zuni" jewelry. Before she was found in Pennsylvania she probably traveled through the southwest.
After almost 10 years, Connie has been ruled out.
