Can someone please post a link for the news conference later today? I would love to watch it to see what they disclose.

Praise God this young woman will now be reunited with her family. What a blessing has been bestowed upon them after all these years.

I saw an article were the police was saying it was her but the FBI was to do there conference at 3 pm. I don't want to get my hopes up to high but I am praying every second that this is her. Which if it is makes me wonder if this is like the Smart case? Could she have been told that her parents did not want her anymore? This is so great and awful at the same time.

Wow, I so hope this is her. This is a ray of sunshine for her family and all those who spend countless hours looking for missing children. I have tinglies going up my spine just thinking about one of the lost being found. Praying that this is true and hoping for good news at the presser.

Great! Never give up! Jaycee's mother didn't!

This gives me so much hope for other missing children!

I'm unfamiliar with the case (off to read the thread now) but what incredibly wonderful news. It stresses how important it is to never give up hope. I'm so happy this family can be reunited.

I located a Facebook page for a woman who claims her name as something strikingly similar to Jaycee Dugard and her photograph bares a slight resemblance to our recently located Jaycee -- right down to the gap in the front teeth. Is this OK to post?

Kidnapping victim Jaycee Lee Dugard has been found in good health 18 years after her abduction, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office confirmed.

Dugard, who turned 29 Thursday, was abducted from the El Dorado County community of Meyers on the morning of June 10, 1991, when she was only 11 years old, KCRA-TV in Sacramento reported.

Dugard's family said two people, a man and a woman, have been arrested in connection with the case, but police did not offer confirmation.

Dugard's stepfather Carl Probyn, who now lives in Southern California, said Thursday that Dugard's mother, Terry Probyn, called him Wednesday afternoon and told him the FBI had contacted her to say they may have found her daughter.

"I'm running around the house like I've had six cups of coffee," Probyn said Thursday morning.

Dugard's relatives were expected to meet with her Thursday in the Bay Area.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department was expected to hold a news conference at 3 p.m. Thursday to talk about the case.

"Due to an ongoing criminal investigation, no information will be released until that time," sheriff's Sgt. James Byers said in a news release.
