Case History:
She was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross US 101 north of Kastania Rd. in Petaluma, CA at 1815 hours. She may have been coming from Santa Rosa, CA and was thought to be hitchhiking to San Francisco, CA.

My first thought when I saw this was Jeanette Kamahele since the general description and clothing are similar along with the area she was hitchhiking, but unless there is an error with the date it can't be her. She disappeared the following spring.

Recognizable face? I hope that a sketch of the face of this girl be released as soon as possible or to be built to enable the identification. ;)

A few possibilities: one that I really like is Dixie Arensen http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/arensen_dixie.html if she did leave of her own volition. Denise Anderson http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/anderson_denise.html is another, but she may be a little short if her height estimate is accurate. Denise Sheehy http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/sheehy_denise.html possibly ran away, but is also a bit short. Alice Reeves http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/r/reeves_alice.html and Joan Bieter http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/bieter_joan.html have little information available.
