Terri Lynn was a young girl with her whole life ahead of her. Until she took her dog, Charlie, for an evening walk around 7:30 PM on July 7, 1976 towards the Clear Creek Swimming hole in Redding, CA. While Charlie came back, wet as if he had been swimming, Terri never walked through her front door. The following morning, two children found her body by the water. Her smile and laughter ripped from those who loved her. All that told the story of her last moments were the 15 stab wounds, mostly to her upper body and arms, and a single drop of blood on a rock. Nothing else. No knife. Even after divers searched, no evidence found. Nothing that suggested who, why, how and where she was actually killed. There were a few local kids arrested separately but both released as they had sound alibi's. And over the years, Terri was lost again to the world. Some say it was the EARONS but only a local would have known that swimming hole and how to access it. Somewhere, someone knows something and we are running out of time. Terri's mother stayed in her home all these years, not able to part with the shared space that once protected her little girl.

The City of Redding needs your help to solve this crime. I need our help finding the whole story. We need help uncovering the neighborhood gossip that followed. Because somewhere, in the mix of all of the silence... is someone eager to speak... longing to tell their secret.
