Circumstances of Disappearance: Vera went missing on May 14th, 1964. She left behind 3 children and it was unlike her not to be home when her children arrived from school. Her ex-husband and children could not think of a reason why she would leave.

Married in 1946 to Ralph Edward Schrader (who only died in 2017 age 99). She was born Vera Esther Parrish in Arkansas on 14 November 1913 (not 1914, her birth certificate on Ancestry confirms 1913). Oddly, the Ancestry trees list 5 children (all listed as private) rather than 3 - but given they married in 1946 it is possible 2 had left home.

Details of Disappearance​

Schrader was last seen in Ojai, California on May 14, 1964. She didn't return to her home in the 200 block of El Camino Drive after work, and has never been heard from again.
She left behind three children, and it was uncharacteristic of her to not be home when they arrived home from school. Her ex-husband and children couldn't think of any reason why she would have left. Few details are available in her case.
