''Three men from Brampton, Ont., identified in U.S. court documents as Durante King-Mclean, 25, Prasath Paramalingam, 34, and Archit Grover, 36, as well as Jalisa Edwards, 25, from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, have been indicted in the United States for a conspiracy to engage in international firearms trafficking.

The arrests are linked to the Toronto gold heist, according to law enforcement sources.''

''Authorities claim Paramalingam was involved in the gun conspiracy since April 2023 — around the time of the gold heist — with others to arrange for King-Mclean’s illegal entry into the United States.''

IMO. It’s a good/ great thing that these dudes are under arrest in the US.

They’ll likely get stiff sentences in the US.

Up here, they’d get a slap on the wrist, restorative Justice and might have to return the money ( if it can be found ).

How would the thieves have known about the cargo if apparently it was unmarked and AC didn't know what it was?

''One of the Air Canada employees, a 54-year-old man named Parmpal Sidhu, was arrested and charged with theft over $5,000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. Police said they’re still looking for Simran Preet Panesar, 31, who also worked for the Montreal-based airline at the time and is facing the same charges''.

he gold bars and bills were then hauled to a cargo facility where, at around 6:30 p.m., a driver showed up in a white truck with a fraudulent document to claim the shipment.

'That document, police said, was a duplicate of an air waybill for a seafood shipment that had been picked up the day before'

True - how did these lowlifes know a big shipment of gold was coming in?

My bets are on this guy:
" A Canada-wide warrant has been issued 31-year-old Simran Preet Panesar, who police said resigned from his position as a manager at Air Canada back in the summer.

“He has been known to us since early on in the investigation. He actually led a tour for Peel Regional Police before we knew his involvement,” Mavity said Wednesday.

"He added that police have an idea where Panesar may be..."

IMO, Panesar may be the one who was briefed ahead of time/ worked with Brinks on security for the shipment. Was probably corrupted through some kind of connections, rather than a member of the gang.
