Toronto police are investigating a shooting that took place outside of Drake’s Bridle Path mansion early Tuesday morning, a source tells CP24.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a shooting investigation.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Park Lane Circle and Post Road area.
It is reported that:

• officers arrived at the scene and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound
• the victim, a security guard, was shot while standing outside of the gates in front of the home
• he was shot from a vehicle which then fled the scene
• the victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital''

Footage from dozens of security cameras in the area of Drake’s Bridle Path mansion could be the key to identifying the suspect responsible for shooting and seriously injuring a security guard outside the rapper’s sprawling home early Tuesday morning, a former Toronto homicide detective says.

Toronto police say a man who allegedly attempted to access Drake’s Bridle Path property was taken to hospital on Thursday after an altercation with security guards.
