Do y’all think Barry busted into the locked bedroom and tranqued Suzanne by hand? Was he up washing clothes while she was dying, or after he had disposed of her?

I could never buy that BM shot the dart with a gun when he could easily overpower SM and inject her by hand. Easy-peasy, done.

In a state of depressed respiration, a pillow-- or pinch of her nose, and she's gone. Doing the laundry could fit just about anytime including when loading up his truck.

I did buy that BM convinced himself that he did not kill SM-- he just "put her down." She went to sleep...

Oh, Iris, I'll bet you are tired of LE keying in on your client. But we're tiring of you.

Her credibility is officially shot.

Now we know why they delayed his civil $uit. What a shame. Mountain lion just ate $15 million, served up with peanut butter and on one plate.

I wonder if IE has provided Barry with a list of young attorneys who command smaller retainers.

IE is ludicrous. Why would a random rancher throw Suzanne's bike down the hill?

Oh, Barry.

As much as I can't fathom anyone supporting him at this point, I hope Team Barry stick like glue to him. So he can be very much alive when he's arrested.

I especially hope that Jonny Grusing can be there for that.

Why do you need immunity?

In case someone wrongly convicts me or something.

You won't be wrongly convicted.

This time there'll be no bail.

Just jail.

Sorry, not sorry.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but it's official, the 12th Judicial District has the ball. They're the ones who will be prosecuting any future case against Barry Morphew. The Linda Stanley nightmare is officially over.

Barry Morphew released this statement through his attorneys after the autopsy results were released:

For the past four years the Morphews have agonized over Suzanne's disappearance. This included not only the pain of the loss of their wife and mother but also the false accusations and prosecution of Barry Morphew. The Morphews have prayed the authorities would remove their blinders and not only find Suzanne, but find the suspect responsible for her disappearance and murder. However, the Morphews are left with more questions than answers and a lack of justice for Suzanne, the family
and the community.

On May 10, 2020, around 5:00 a.m. Barry Morphew went to work, driving approximately 160 miles north of the Morphew home for a job that had been planned for months. In 2020, investigators confirmed that Suzanne was a regular morning coffee drinker and DNA testing done in 2020 confirmed that the half finished cup of coffee left on the kitchen counter on May 10, 2020 was covered in her DNA only. The autopsy now also confirms that on the day she disappeared, Suzanne had her morning cup of coffee as shown by the caffeine in the toxicology report. The autopsy also confirms that she put on her mountain bike clothes and was either getting ready for, or was already on her morning bike ride, when she was abducted, allegedly drugged, and buried 50 miles south of their home.

Despite the fact that unknown male DNA was found in Suzanne's car, where her bike was parked, on her bike grips, handlebars, and bike seat, the authorities will not tell the Morphew family whether Suzanne's bike clothes, collected seven months ago with her remains, have been tested for DNA. DNA left on her clothing by the murderer could bring justice for Suzanne, her family and the community. The authorities will also not provide the Morphew's
[sic] any information regarding whether they have performed any testing on the bullet that was collected with Suzanne's remains.

The authorities offered the victims, Barry, Mallory and Macy, the option to retrieve Suzanne's remains, but they want to ensure the suspect is apprehended before they take what could be an important piece of evidence in the suspect's prosecution. The
family is quite skeptical about the integrity of this investigation as the very same investigators that concealed the unknown male DNA continue to be involved in this investigation and were present at the autopsy of Suzanne Morphew.

The family asks for privacy and implores the authorities to look at the case with fresh eyes, follow all leads, conduct all forensic testing, and solve Suzanne's murder.
Suzanne Morphew's death declared a homicide nearly 4 years after she was reported missing in Colorado

Literally, BAM!

Butorphanol, azaperone and medetomidine — the chemicals found in Morphew's femur, according to the report — are used by biologists, wildlife officers and hunters to anesthetize large-sized animals such as deer, bear, moose and horses. The report described the compound as an "injectable chemical immobilizer" for wildlife, the symptoms of which can be reversed.

...

Butorphanol, azaperone and medetomidine are the same substances that Suzanne's husband, Barry Morphew, told investigators he routinely used to immobilize deer before he removed their antlers.

The chemical mixture is often sold in kit form with the acronym "BAM."

This is not unexpected news to learn since her tiny bones were found. Barry's bike ride excuse has fallen apart. She wasn't wearing shoes.

Years ago, when picturing Barry running around the Puma Path home chasing a terrified Suzanne with a tranquilizer gun my PTSD was triggered, thereby forcing me to leave the thread for a while. I am pleased her sister, brother and her family knows the truth of Suzanne's horrific death. The rest of the family learned ole Barry really is a killer.

We waited for this day and it did not disappoint. Justice for Suzanne.
Beautiful. Such a loss of life and future for a young, loving mother.

As I'm sitting here and hearing about the US Marshalls that were killed today while serving a warrant, I just think to myself there are people in this world that want to make it better and there are people who just want to do what they want to do regardless of the laws and what is "right" and decent as a human being on this planet.

Barry is a taker, a law breaker.. those laws don't apply to him, but his day is coming all because of some dedicated LEOs.

I think about how SA Grusing must be feeling right now. He KNEW and he had to get up close and personal with Barry over and over again to get these puzzle pieces. I think about the toll it takes on LEOs to see the face of evil and not be able to act. We often criticize how things are done or question why xyz wasn't done instead of abc.. truth is we just don't know what it's like to be in their shoes to see what true evil looks like. It takes something special to keep engaging with a man like Barry. To keep his cool and let him talk when he was nearly certain that this was the killer of Suzanne. They take it home with them, they live it in ways we might never understand. He has to be feeling good tonight that Suzanne was able to speak with the last pieces of info to make the puzzle crystal clear.

So Agent Grusing and to all the investigators, agents, LE officers, lab analysts, and anyone else that has put their efforts into getting justice for Suzanne.. we thank you!

That was beautiful.

Such an eye roll statement from Barry's attorneys.

I don't know about anyone else but I like to drink my morning coffee while scrolling on my laptop and/or checking my phone. If I recall correctly.. she didn't have phone activity and/talk to anyone evening of May 9th OR morning of May 10th. Didn't check in with her daughters?

She might be correct with the part. "The autopsy now also confirms that on the day she disappeared, Suzanne had her morning cup of coffee as shown by the caffeine in the toxicology report" Yeah.. the day she disappeared as in May 9th, that morning she had a cup of coffee...

Also, an autopsy does not confirm SHE put on her biking clothes..

Great. Just a meat and potatoes DA please.

I'm going to go ahead and help Iris here:

For the past four years, Barry has felt the unrelenting pressure of a murder investigation, and the public scrutiny that comes with it. Barry has prayed that law enforcement would never find Suzanne, and would turn their attention away from him, and towards literally any other suspect, human or otherwise, viable or not. Although Barry has all of the answers, he is deathly afraid of what law enforcement can prove, and continues to have a sense of impending doom in regards to a future murder indictment. He prays that day never comes, and he can continue to live as a free man.

I wonder if he’ll pull a Fotis Dulos move. Both were murderers, narcissists, liars, cheats, and cowards.
