I was just looking over the posts in this thread, and in some others... noticed all the healed rib fractures...

I know that Mr.TT brought this up before, but it can't be coincidence at this point...

Any thoughts?

There are a lot of them with broken ribs that have healed. I wonder if some of these girls were kept somewhere. Beaten to keep them in line. Broken ribs slow you down. Can't run with them.

I wish reports posted gave more information about the other kinds of fractures they found - like the healed femur fracture, and whether or not it looked to have been healed properly, or if it looked like a neglected break that didn't get set by a doctor... And whether they were open or closed fractures (for the ones they could tell)?

Something is up with these rib fractures though. Those are the ones you wouldn't be able to get set anyway, but there are just too many of them.

Plus, I read about a victim's teeth being removed post-mortem, as well.

I guess it wasn't as easy to notice some of this when we had it spread out over decades, but looking at them in the COD threads, it's easier to see the similarities.

You're right. Having the cause of death sorted out lets you see a lot of things you wouldn't have noticed before now. Most of these women were abused prior to death. I noticed several with back injuries too.

Could be an employee of the restaurant chain back then.
We have them here.
But I am sure you would think to check back then the restaurant and ask if they had a black employee not show up for work and never called in to quit?

If I had to make a guess. I would say she was an employee of the chicken place.
If you had those down there back then?

Might have been an ex-employee who kept the shirt. You would think LE would have checked into that but there were a lot of Popeye's Chickens around back then. Probably only checked the local restaurants and not all over Tx. Never know.....
