Police have appealed to the public for help finding missing Melbourne man Peter.

There are growing concerns for a missing Melbourne man who hasn’t been seen since leaving work 10 days ago.
Peter, 53, was last seen driving out of the underground carpark of Summerhill Shopping Centre in Reservoir about 11.44pm on Sunday, April 14.
He had just finished his shift at Coles and was supposed to have been heading home to Balwyn North.

Police said he turned left onto Plenty Rd, heading towards the Albert St intersection.

Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Morgan said there have been “extensive” searches for Peter including numerous patrols and help from PolAir.

The family have no idea why he would have gone anywhere but home after work, John said.

“We can’t think of any obvious reason why he’d just disappear,” he said.

“His boss tells us that he hasn’t missed a day’s work in 32 years.”

Peter is Caucasian, 173cm tall, with dark shoulder-length hair, a medium build and multiple earrings in each ear.

He was wearing a red Coles uniform T-shirt, a brown long sleeve jacket, black baggy trousers and dark-coloured shoes.

Peter was driving a silver 2018 Toyota Yaris with the registration 1MP3GF.

Anyone who sees Peter or has any information has been urged to contact Boroondara Police Station or Crime Stoppers.

Sounds like car is also missing?
Unfortunately my mind always goes to a car accident off-road in situations like this. Vehicle into a body of water, or bush on side of road, thick enough that it can’t be seen from the road at just a glance.
Hoping I’m wrong and Peter has simply decided to take a road trip but neglected to tell anybody. Hoping for good news soon.
All imo.

It's hard not to but the disappearance is very strange. He's been missing for nearly two weeks and it sounds like he had a daily routine he stuck to, and regular contact with his family. I'm still holding onto hope.
